Sorry to hear that you are not interested in South China Sea. I am also reading the rulebook of Somme 1918 by Nuts1 Publishing, about to begin play with another partner soon for commemorating the centennial battle. Are you interested? I can play two games at the same time.
I have played No Retreat FTF several times. It didn't click me as much as I hope, mainly because of its high level of abstractedness. No frontline can be ever formed on the map. Too much space for the units to move around. It doesn't look like the eastern front. I have the other games on the North African and Western (French) theatres. Maybe we can play them later on. But now I am busy reading the rules of South China Sea and Somme 1918.
If you are interested in Somme 1918, let me know.

I did take a look at the rules, and I am not sure that is of enough interest to me to justify the effort !
Anything else you are interested in? No Retreat would take a while as there can be quite a lot of back and forth, card play at each battle, but it is a very cool game. However it is long, so finding face to face folk is tough.

Hi Mark, congratulations to you winning. GG. While we can go for a second game, are you interested in learning the game South China Sea together with me? I am reading the rulebook now and we can start it once we finish reading, say one week from now. What do you think?

Your Navis moved to Mare Hispanum on its second move, but cannot battle, so i am not sure that is a valid move. In the Navis move sidebar example it mentions that "If not attacking a Navis that moved to Mare Aegaeum could move to another Friendly or Vacant sea", so that sounds like it cannot move to an Enemy or contested sea on a second move.

Hi Lawrence, good catch on the reinforcement and , yes , that was an extra move . Sorry about that!
I repaired the errors.
Also, as i vacated a victory point city (Massilia) but entered Rome, my total VPs goes to 2.
You are up.

Welcome back. We just finished a ToC game and it was rather a disaster from my standpoint, expanding too fast i got pretty beat up. Oh well, at least ti was a fast game!
I have played my turn, and placed my card for T2, hidden
You can play your card and reveal it in the log.

Many thanks for setting it up, Mark. Unfortunately, my monitor at home is out of service starting from yesterday and the service vendor would only come to collect it for repair tomorrow (19 Sep). I have to pause the progress for now but I will come back to it ASAP.
Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

lets see how clunky this is. I have setup the game, I chose Caesar randomly. I have drawn up, discarded one card and then placed my starting card on the map, hidden.
You can send me back your log with your card revealed, and then i can reveal mine to see who moves first
BTW I have only played half one one game of this!
