312 2/3/2019 4:48:00 PM Spring 1863 Union Play Strategy card as Event #3: 1 / Forward to Richmond
Union may activate any Union army within 4 spaces of Richmond, VA. The army must enter Richmond or move as close to Richmond as possible, but may convert spaces to maintain an LOC. All SPs associated with the army must be moved (no dropping off SPs), except 1 SP may be left if the Army began its movement from a fort (if last SP, move completed). If played by the Confederate, he draws a card from the Union hand which is discarded, and the Union player follows the instructions of this card as his next card play.

310 2/3/2019 3:06:00 PM Spring 1863 Confederate Return Strategy card to hand #19: 1 / Belmont

Message from Confederate:
Actually I made a mistake in thinking you played your last card for its Event. I later realized it was a Confederate-only Event and then noticed you had played it for its CPs, but didn't enter any move associated with it. Therefore I am returning my card back to my hand and will let you finish your turn (and perhaps return your "Clandestine Blockade Runner Port" card back into your hand if you hadn't meant to play it).
309 2/3/2019 3:00:00 PM Spring 1863 Confederate Play Strategy card as Event #19: 1 / Belmont
Either player may move up to two infantry SPs from the same space as if led by a General. This move is a Corps move and may enter enemy controlled spaces because the SPs are moving as if they are led by a general.

Message from Confederate:
The Confederates play this card for its event immediately after the Union built the fort in St Marks. The two SPs in Forest MS make a Corps move of 10 spaces (8 plus 2 due to the railroad bonus) over to Missionary Ridge.

Union turn
308 2/3/2019 2:57:00 PM Spring 1863 Confederate Play Strategy card as Operations #59: 2 / Farragut
Union may make a naval more with up to three SPs plus one general. Move may pass one ungarrisoned fort without “running the guns” to conduct an amphibious assault (may not pass an ironclad). Ignore first torpedo encountered during naval move. If the port space is captured it immediately receives a Union PC marker. Add +2 to Running the Guns die roll.

Message from Confederate:
You skipped the Confederates turn! We had intercepted the Union in Cleveland, but we hadn't made a subsequent move ourselves. Hence I will just make two moves in a row, neither of which I think would have impacted our order of card play.

With this card, the AoNV (using railroad spaces for the movement bonus) makes a loop to Clarksville and Morehead City picking up the 3 SPs in those two spaces and returns back to Weldon.
307 2/3/2019 1:52:00 PM Spring 1863 Union Play Strategy card as Operations #117: 3 / Clandestine Blockade Runner Port
If the state of Florida and the St. Marks, Florida space is Confederate controlled, St. Marks is treated as a blockade runner port for the remainder of the game. Place (no LOC required) 2SPs and a fort (optional if available) in the St. Marks space. Remove from deck if event is played.

These PC Markers (in contravention of rule 11.3D), CAN be placed in blockade runner ports/ and or resource spaces devoid of Confederate SPs or forts (but may contain an Ironclad or Torpedoes), resulting in their immediate destruction. Bragg automatically becomes the second-in-command of the AoNV upon entering Richmond. The AoNV picks up Wheeler’s Cavalry Brigade and leaves both Stuart’s Cavalry Brigade and Beauregard in Richmond.

AoNV, now consisting of A.Johnston, Bragg, Wheeler’s Cavalry Brigade and 2 SPs (including Wheeler) move to Petersburg where they leave 1 SP and then move to Weldon where they end their move.
