This is more or less my dream version of how this turn would play out. I wouldn't have asked for a rematch if I'd known I was actually going to get here!

I need to go run a 90 minute errand now but I can do the end of turn stuff when I get back.
161 12/5/2018 2:26:00 PM Spring 1862 Confederate Message I just noticed that in #143 I left the wrong general in Richmond with the Army of the West moved out. Bragg was not a legal choice to leave behind because at 8 political rating he was 2nd in charge in the army. My intention was to leave Price behind anyway, so I'm going to swap Bragg and Price so my previous move was legal unless you object. (Price to Richmond, Bragg to AoWest)

136 11/29/2018 6:42:00 AM Spring 1862 Moderator Message Please proceed with your game. The revised ruling is from Mark Herman's explanation on consim where he explained that the Design Note under Rule 5.72 is only meant in context of overruns.

Any questions, please send me an email.
135 11/29/2018 6:41:00 AM Spring 1862 Moderator Message EP revised ruling:
The Emancipation Proclamation event requires that the Union wins a medium or large battle. Two exceptions are overruns (5.72) and Army Amphibious Assault (6.15). The Design Note under 5.72 is in the context of overrun only, where any size force overrunning a fort would trigger EP.

* An amphibious assault on an ungarrisoned fort will not trigger EP except in the rare case where an Union Army wins the AA and 6 SP are involved.

** An ungarrisoned coastal fort has 0 SP. If you were to capture it in a Small battle, this would NOT trigger EP.

The Union removes one SP (Confederate chooses) within two spaces (including a river connection) of a Confederate SP due to poor leadership. A Union SP can be removed from a Coastal fort.

Roll the die, if the result is greater than the Union Amphibious Assault modifier, reduce the Union Amphibious Assault modifier by one, other wise no effect. Remove from deck if event is played.

80 11/21/2018 1:35:00 PM Fall 1861 Union Message ok pick it up at #66 with out the leader loss

I am just asking in the future pause a little if the numbers are not the same. Everybody makes a mistake but it is better to find out before the next dice
79 11/21/2018 12:30:00 PM Fall 1861 Confederate Message Let me know if you are comfortable just resetting to the beginning of my turn. I don't see how else we would handle this. It was such a good turn too! Oh well, my mistake.
78 11/21/2018 12:26:00 PM Fall 1861 Confederate Message You can tell from my other messages that I thought you were in Hanover, not Williamsburg, so I think I just have to redo my own turn.
77 11/21/2018 12:25:00 PM Fall 1861 Confederate Message The defense of Richmond plays out the same way (3 vs 2*) except there is no leader loss roll, so McClellan comes back to life ...
76 11/21/2018 12:24:00 PM Fall 1861 Confederate Message Wow, sorry, just saw your message. I guess you are in supply after all, dunno how I missed that.

Time to unwind some things ...
75 11/21/2018 12:20:00 PM Fall 1861 Confederate Message Oh, I never knew this rule, but 7.61 says since you are forced to retreat onto a square I control (priority 5/6 in the list of retreat options) that I get to pick where you retreat. I don't think it matters too much other than I get to finish my turn without waiting :-)

Rest of my turn incoming soon ...
74 11/21/2018 12:13:00 PM Fall 1861 Union Message Can we wait a minute.

I do not understand why the AoP is OOS. I think it can trace from Fort Monroe to Williemasburg.

If the odds are not as stated I would prefer we claify before rolling
