555 12/2/2018 9:48:00 PM Fall 1863 Confederate Message Even more than your dice, your card draws were way above average, esp the first 6 turns. Union usually has 1 or 2 turns of below average cards. Coupled this with my below average draws... needed ironclads or a 3-Op to cross the river, but only drew one 3-Op... can't waste a Minor to build a fort or a precious reinf card... finally forced to... also could use a number of other cool cards that I was hoping to draw... just not meant to be.

good luck... hope maybe to see you in future rounds.
554 12/2/2018 8:05:00 PM Fall 1863 Union Message Early in the game AoP intercepted on a 1 (1 in 6 chance). I lost the first battle at Culpepper, but won the second preventing the timely formation of AoNV. Hooker also help Knoxville on the first assault. And or course Hancock slipped into Salem-Vandelia (1 in 6) and Halleck held Green Castle. I had some serious luck.
553 12/2/2018 8:01:00 PM Fall 1863 Union Message I will e-mail the GM of my victory.

I will draw cards just for fun for next turn.
546 12/2/2018 7:47:00 PM Summer 1863 Confederate Message finally have some time to look over this mess... really needed Stonewall to win that battle ... then to Bloom to trap your entire force in a pocket- that would be 2 raids and AOM possible destruction next turn since you cannot SM any reinf to it if trapped... that's a 30 SW swing...... the odds were in my favor but dice was not...

so at this point, I don't want to drag on, I resign.

congrats on a well-deserved win... you played really well.
545 11/29/2018 6:41:00 AM Summer 1863 Confederate Message EP revised ruling:
The Emancipation Proclamation event requires that the Union wins a medium or large battle. Two exceptions are overruns (5.72) and Army Amphibious Assault (6.15). The Design Note under 5.72 is in the context of overrun only, where any size force overrunning a fort would trigger EP.

* An amphibious assault on an ungarrisoned fort will not trigger EP except in the rare case where an Union Army wins the AA and 6 SP are involved.

** An ungarrisoned coastal fort has 0 SP. If you were to capture it in a Small battle, this would NOT trigger EP.
544 11/29/2018 6:40:00 AM Summer 1863 Confederate Message sorry for the delay, but lots of stuff to take care of including ruling and an important announcement that I need to make to all participants due to previous EP interpretation.
