724 11/29/2019 1:24:00 AM Spring 1865 Confederate Message Rebs pre-vail by not getting their resouces down to ZERO by the end of the game.

This was a really tense game! After loosing all thos cav commanders early on, I was in really deep dodo! There were 5 Gens killed on each side during this game...that is a lot!

I really enjoyed the game...hope you did as well. Really appreciate your playing with me.

Want to play another and change sides or give the Yanks another try?
723 11/29/2019 1:21:00 AM Spring 1865 Confederate Play Strategy card as Operations #100: 3 / Shiloh
Confederate Player may move 5 SPs using Strategic Movement (rail connections only) to the same space with a Confederate General who is then activated and must attempt to enter a space with at least one or more Union SPs or fort. If a general casualty occurs in a battle caused by this card, the Commanding General is eligible, this is an exception to the rules. See 4.5.

Message from Confederate:
Last card play of this game...wow...

Early (n6) moves to reinforce the ANV - n12.
722 11/27/2019 9:08:00 AM Spring 1865 Union Message I was pretty sure that wouldn't work.
Pope takes fort, drops 1SP, on to Humbolt drops Hancock and 4SP, then ends up in McKenzie with 1SP
721 11/26/2019 11:16:00 PM Spring 1865 Confederate Message You may not use river movement & land movement with the same card play. you may play a card to move by riverine movement which ends after making to land.

So, you could move to Humboldt, then to Memphis. Since this is not an Army move, the spaces will not be converted till the end of the turn stuff is adjudicated...meaning that they have to be in supply to convert the spaces.

Using the new Logisitcs rules, since no RR or point of supply other than Paducah...the move to Humboldt & Memphis cost 2MPs each. Any move to New Madrid would also cost 2MPs to & fro.

Whatcha want to do, bud?
720 11/26/2019 11:00:00 PM Spring 1865 Union Message Columbus fort destroyed Reb SW down 1 to 59 US up 3 to 73

AoWest (n6) moves from Weston to Lewisburg, then to attack Sherman at Franklin
638 10/4/2019 5:11:00 PM Fall 1864 Confederate Message Need to refresh my memory...are we playin with the new Logisitics rules?
637 10/4/2019 9:49:00 AM Fall 1864 Union Play Strategy card as Operations #54: 1 / CSS Virginia
Confederate may place one Ironclad in a controlled port or coastal fort space.

Message from Union:

636 10/4/2019 5:38:00 AM Fall 1864 Confederate Play Strategy card as Operations #19: 1 / Belmont
Either player may move up to two infantry SPs from the same space as if led by a General. This move is a Corps move and may enter enemy controlled spaces because the SPs are moving as if they are led by a general.

Message from Confederate:
Early leaves the 1SP in Weldon & moves by himself to Norfolk (p/u 2SPs - Norfolk n0 & Early n2), then reinforces the AoTenn in Richmond - n6.
635 10/3/2019 9:43:00 PM Fall 1864 Union Message McClellan is content to finish up in Paducah.
Thanks for your kind thoughts and concerns. The game does give me a few minutes to think of something else for a little while.
634 10/3/2019 6:44:00 PM Fall 1864 Confederate Message WOW, that does sound yucky...re-hab often takes weeks to regain mobility...but sad to hear about the more severe cognitive problems. Geez, bud, you sure have your hands full! Hope our game will help with a little diversion...

Force at Columbus will NOT intercept...you may continue with Little Mac!
633 10/2/2019 11:36:00 PM Fall 1864 Union Message Series of strokes has left Karen with totally paralyzed right side and significant cognitive/communication deficiencies. Time will tell, but having spent nearly a month in hospital before being released to a Rehabilitation/Nursing facility provides some idea of the severity of her condition.
Part three
McClellan detaches 1SP and Butler in Cairo, takes AoTN (n5) to Paducah, and converts Paducah.
632 9/9/2019 12:56:00 PM Fall 1864 Union Message My wife suffered a stroke yesterday. Let's suspend this game until I get a better handle on what comes next.
631 9/8/2019 6:59:00 PM Fall 1864 Confederate Message The reference is in section 7.10 => example 2 reinforces the comment that resource locations negates the * result. We both loose 3SPs but the Yanks retire since Richmond is a resource location.
630 9/8/2019 10:51:00 AM Fall 1864 Confederate Message Combat results table...even tho Yanks win the battle, if the engagement occurs in a town hex, the defender wins the tie results.

If you till cann't find the reference, will find it and send it to you upon my return from work later today.
629 9/7/2019 12:53:00 AM Fall 1864 Union Message I did indeed convert Hanover (see 625) as action 4of 6.
I don't find the rule that prevents entry into the fort after attack on turn 5 of 6
628 9/7/2019 12:24:00 AM Fall 1864 Confederate Message Nope, no problem with battle resolution except that the city trumps attacker bonus with * results when we both loose 3 each.

So Grant retires back to Hanover...btw, you converted Hanover before attacking right?
627 9/6/2019 9:23:00 PM Fall 1864 Union Message Shucks
Looks like I jumped the gun again. Did Longstreet elect to abandon Richmond to the gentle ministrations of the Yankee horde? If so all remains the same except AoTN suffers no losses.
626 9/6/2019 9:19:00 PM Fall 1864 Union Message Both 10 but no officer casualties.
Both sides lose 3 in the medium battle of Richmond Yanks n7, Rebs n4
Grand converts Richmond
Longstreet retreats (to Petersburg?)
Yankees celebrate while the South despairs Reb SW down 15 to 51
