235 3/14/2019 7:22:00 PM 1759 Late Season France Message Yeah, if nothing else, that might be the biggest battle I've seen in Toronto. I still felt pretty insecure about an auto-win, but that Mohawk Valley approach is so hard to pull off!

I was lucky to get the early attritional edge, which helped a lot, aided by a couple of the replacement cards. I generally like an aggressive Montcalm out west, although that is risky.

I probably won't be able to do anything in UKC before Monday, but launch it before then if you have a chance. I don't have a side preference, so you can pick or randomize.
234 3/14/2019 3:01:00 PM 1759 Late Season Britain Message Yea, an all-or-nothing gamble that still almost paid off, even though a game win would not be a sure thing even if I won the battle, it would at least have been interesting.

Well played French game, I played a couple of early hands poorly, but I don't think it would have made much of a difference eventually. I was surprised you put Montcalm at risk, I might have threatened the supply line with a smaller force or marched on Albany which would negate a Niagara/Ohio Forks win. Comme ce comme ca.

In any event I surrender, I believe this puts you at 8 VP with most of the British Army in the dead pile.

So...UKC!
233 3/14/2019 2:52:00 PM 1759 Late Season France Message That was uncomfortably close, but it looks like a 5-5, with largely catastrophic results for the attackers (plus leader loss possibilities).

I'll flip the CdB and 4 regulars.
