323 1/13/2019 3:25:00 PM Jan-Apr 1943 Japanese Message I think I'd like to try the Japanese again.

For the People is just very chaotic, and difficult to get a feel for. I'd call myself competent but by no means an expert. Every move can feel swingy with how much you can seem to accomplish, but on a high level I feel it has some similarities to EotS. The CSA like the Japanese can win an offensive victory early, but in FtP it is very difficult for the south to win a survival victory. I have not played EotS enough to know how common it is, but it seems far more viable to hold on to the home islands.
322 1/13/2019 2:45:00 PM Jan-Apr 1943 Allies Message Sure we can play another one. Which side do you want?

I have played both of those others. PoG and Ftp. I am fair at POG but not very good at Ftp. I don't know what it is about Ftp. I like the subject of the civil war but just don't have the feel for that game.
321 1/13/2019 11:42:00 AM Jan-Apr 1943 Japanese Message Good game, Dave. I did indeed draw the 2nd sub off of Halsey, and ShoGo off the 2nd sub. Nothing could go wrong for me this turn. I'm up for a round 3 at any point. I feel I can't get enough of this game. I love Paths of Glory and For the People, but this game is definitely a tier above those for CDGs.
320 1/13/2019 8:58:00 AM Jan-Apr 1943 Allies Message No pretty senseless at this point. You had fantastic cards especially the last 2 turns. 5 free card draws, WIE in plenty, Weather, a couple of reaction cards. No matter what I did I was pretty much hosed and you had covered.

I assume you drew the 2nd sub card when you played Halsey. I should have pretty much know when you traded in the get out of ISR card for the weather card and discarded a mil operation card that I was playing against a stacked deck.

Good game. My Allied play was pretty rusty but I faced the perfect storm of cards and I had to do something with the POW clock ticking. Missing two turns in a row is not going to get it done.
319 1/13/2019 12:05:00 AM Jan-Apr 1943 Japanese Play Strategy card as Event #45: 3 / Operation Sho-Go
Activation: Any HQ. Logistic Value: 5 if Combined Fleet HQ, otherwise: 4. Intelligence: Intercept. Bonus: If a Kamikaze attack reaction card is played in conjunction with this card, increase the effect of the Kamikaze reaction card by one additional Allied naval step loss in one battle. Remove from play if used as an event.

300 1/12/2019 8:16:00 PM Jan-Apr 1943 Allies Message There has been a HUGE disparity in the number of free draws that each side has gotten in the game. Yes the Japanese have move "draw a card" in their deck but the number you have gotten has dwarved mine. In an card driven game the more cards a person sees the better off they are. In this case WAY better off.

Once again the cards have been unbelievable in your favor again. You draw nothing but WIE and sub cards. It is pretty sick. I don't mind the dice but the cards really

When I get free card draws they are trash card. You seem to always pull extra draw cards such as sub cards.
