I doubt I can usefully do anything to stop what is going to happen in N. India so I will keep this for the future assuming there is a future.

I have to say the luck element of the card drawing is slightly annoying. I think I have drawn one of the China status cards so far when the counter was in Stable Front, regardless of what happens in N.India if I don't draw another one next turn I will lose. I will probably lose anyway, but it is slightly annoying to lose because of the lack of a card draw.
