24 1/19/2019 4:46:00 AM Spring 1861 Confederate Play Strategy card as Operations #58: 2 / Admiral Porter
Union may make a naval move with up to three SPs plus one general. If an amphibious assault occurs, you receive an additional +2 DRM. Add +2DRM to any Running the Guns die roll.

Message from Confederate:
And playing it again to attack Freemont
23 1/19/2019 4:43:00 AM Spring 1861 Confederate Return Strategy card to hand #58: 2 / Admiral Porter

Message from Confederate:
Okay, taking back card due to lost river control
22 1/18/2019 4:35:00 PM Spring 1861 Union Message Thatís why I jumped on it with this card hoping to knock out control of river for a bit till youíll prolly drop fort somewhere like new Madrid or Vicksburg
21 1/18/2019 4:34:00 PM Spring 1861 Union Message You can check BGG someone posted saying you canít. I do control river though except for ft Jackson. So I donít get bonus yet for entire mississipi. I have pressure that exerts from top of map tillnit meets a fort or iron clad which is ft Jackson. I have pressure from gulf upward till same. When you had Columbus you had control betweencolumbus and ft Jackson. Currently the fort is only protecting NEw Orleans but otherwise serves no purpose. It also means you canít rail dudes or trade LOC across Mississippi at present either
20 1/18/2019 2:14:00 PM Spring 1861 Confederate Message As I said in WW, As far as I know, I can do it as long as I still have the fort. You do not control the entire river yet. But letís see what BGG says...
19 1/18/2019 10:31:00 AM Spring 1861 Union Message dont think you can do riverrine movement at present, you dont have control over mS river except at Ft. Phillip jackson sicne your fort in columbus is gone...i'll ask this question on BGG just to clarify
18 1/18/2019 10:27:00 AM Spring 1861 Confederate Play Strategy card as Operations #58: 2 / Admiral Porter

17 1/18/2019 10:12:00 AM Spring 1861 Union Message nevermind fixed SW
16 1/18/2019 10:10:00 AM Spring 1861 Union Message also, i forgot to adjust SW. I get +1 for fort + 2 FW, you lose 1 for fort and -3 SW
15 1/18/2019 9:58:00 AM Spring 1861 Union Play Strategy card as Operations #15: 1 / Mosby's Raiders
Confederate can remove two Union PC Markers in Virginia within 2 spaces of Winchester, VA. The spaces may contain Union generals, SPs or forts.

Message from Union:
build fort with freemont
14 1/18/2019 9:57:00 AM Spring 1861 Union Message also never mind as you can trace supply through friendly/neutral spaces and paducah at start is neutral so point is moot. But i do want to clarify for tracing supply along rivers lol
13 1/18/2019 9:52:00 AM Spring 1861 Union Message ok so i think we need to clarify this before moving on...apparently in rules for OOS, you judge it at moment before combat from the space your are entering from. But the rules give an example where I'm in Humboldt TN (no PC marker) and in supply via new madrid (assuming because it's a river space?) and that if i attack grandjunction, I would be OOS. I'm thinking that the paducah space is "in supply" because it's still a river space, so I can attack out of it right? I'll post on BGG but wanted to clarify. otherwise its a 2v2 result (still think fort stays) and then Id be in paducah which ultimately still ends up being a 1v1 result for your combat, so id be down to 2SP..just want to clarify
12 1/18/2019 4:42:00 AM Spring 1861 Confederate Message I forgot that you moved back to Paducah in your move, so the battle between Freemont and Johnston took place in Paducah and I retreated back to Dover after the defeat

You can fix that in your file, bty
11 1/18/2019 3:27:00 AM Spring 1861 Confederate Message 1 cl vs 1 cl, standoff, defender wins. CSA return to Paducah

Message from Confederate:
Attacking Freemont. No avoid/intercept possible. Medium battle

CSA (4 SP): +1 general
Union (4 SP): no drm
9 1/18/2019 3:23:00 AM Spring 1861 Confederate Play Strategy card as Event #101: 3 / Chickamauga
Confederate Player may move 5 SPs using Strategic Movement (rail connections only) to the same space with a Confederate General who is then activated and must attempt to enter a space with at least one or more Union SPs or fort. If a general casualty occurs in a battle caused by this card, the Commanding General is eligible, this is an exception to the rules. See 4.5.

Message from Confederate:
I can do the same strategic manouvering... SP's from Polk and Mobile to Johnston, who then moves out against Freemont
8 1/18/2019 3:19:00 AM Spring 1861 Confederate Message 2 cl vs 1 cl, defender eliminated, Fort Columbus destroyed, Union is in supply via the river

Message from Confederate:
I believe your move is correct. Medium battle of Columbus

Union (5 SP): Force ratio +4
CSA (1SP): fort +2
6 1/17/2019 11:28:00 PM Spring 1861 Union Message So if I lose 1 sp, leave 2 in Columbus and take 2 back to Paducah. If I lose 2 sp, then leave 1 in Columbus and take 2 back to Paducah. If you roll a 6 Iíll lose my mind haha
5 1/17/2019 10:45:00 PM Spring 1861 Union Message so my understanding is I can move 2 SP (from pittsburgh) up to 10 spaces (to st. louis). Then I must move and enter space with SP or fort. I'm going to enter columbus. I get a +4 DRM from 5:1 ratio. you get +2 DRM. If (big if) i win, I believe I will in supply as union can trace supply along rivers that you dont deny me control (so running a dude behind me to cairo wont put me OOS still). if you agree, then roll battle (no CC) for me. if not, i'll have to redo my move...hopefully i can knock out this triangle in the west
4 1/17/2019 10:43:00 PM Spring 1861 Union Play Strategy card as Event #103: 3 / Seven Days/Chattanooga
Either player may move 2 SPs using Strategic Movement from the same space using rail connections only (10 space maximum) to the same space with a General who is then activated and must attempt to enter a space with at least one or more enemy SPs or fort. OR play this card as an automatic 2 space interception. Intervening space must be friendly controlled and free of enemy SPs. The intervening space may be the one just exited by the moving enemy force. No Generals or SPs may be picked up or dropped off during the intercept.

Message from Union:
