534 6/1/2019 3:59:00 AM Summer 1864 Confederate Message Hi Dan,
I'm sorry for your loss. It's a good thing you did this trip. I've been through all this two years ago, so I can imagine the situation. Oddly, playing FtP did then prove to be a nice and efficient temporary distraction.
Notwithstanding with the sorrow, I guess you will need time for the nasty (not so)short-term administrative part. Take your time, there's no rush with our cardboard troops.

533 5/31/2019 8:25:00 PM Summer 1864 Union Message Sorry for the long delay - it's been a tough week. We had a nice visit with my dad last weekend with lots of family and friends around. He died Wednesday evening, so very glad we made the trip.

I will keep the same move, with Sheridan staying as an infantry general in Sherman's army. Back to you to continue.
532 5/24/2019 10:41:00 AM Summer 1864 Confederate Message Hi Dan,

I'm afraid it's not as simple with Sheridan. As written in 5.67 D, you have to activate Sheridan himself, with only 1Sp, if you want to make him a cavalry general. In other terms, it takes one round more to buy him a poney. Same story with van Dorn.
The only difference is you can make Sheridan appear directly as a cavalry general, but you didn't (understandably, because Sheridan can perform unvaluable things as a corps commander).

Or maybe I'm wrong ? Tell me your opinion.

Interrupt enemy force currently moving to no more than one space of movement. (Converting a space counts as movement.) Applies to only one move during a Major or Minor campaign card, but not a special army-naval move.
