Azaila (Idubeda)
237 4/2/2019 3:59:00 PM 215-214 BC Carthage Message Rome isolates first. Now since your question also refers to your CU suffering attrition, that implies there is a Roman CU sitting on Ariminium.

Consequently, Roman markers in Verona and Mutina will be able to trace to the CU in Ariminium. Roman marker in Taurini would be able to trace to a Roman CU in Boii or also to Ariminium if you successfully subjugate Boii. And since isolaton occurs after attrition, yes your Roman CUs in Ariminium would roll for attrition.

Note, since Rome checks for isolation first, even if you successfully subjugate Boii, if there are no Roman CUs in Cisalpinia and also none in Ariminium, then all Roman markers in Cisalpinia would isolate first. Then, the Carthaginian marker in Ariminium could trace to the Insubrians.

In the most likely scenario, you'll roll for attrition in Ariminium (and possibly Boii) and then Ariminium would be isolated.

234 4/2/2019 1:53:00 PM 215-214 BC Rome Play Strategy card as Operations #52: 2 / Pestilence
(Both) One opposing Army currently besieging a city must roll on the Attrition Table with a +1 die roll modifier.

Message from Rome:

subjugate Boii

Correct me if I'm wrong -- at turn's end, if I don't convert the space first, your PC in Ariminium will die isolated, but before it goes, my CU there will undergo winter attrition

If I leave CisAlpinia without any CUs there, then all the Roman PCs would also be removed; if I leave just 1 PC in Cisalpinia (say, Boii after conversion) then all PCs that can trace to that CU would be supplied even if Ariminium still has your PC, whether there is a Roman CU in Ariminium or not

223 3/31/2019 11:58:00 PM 215-214 BC Carthage Message one more thing regarding your move

in fact, you can leave just 1 CU to maintain the subjugation point; you just need 3 CUs to make an attempt
222 3/31/2019 11:57:00 PM 215-214 BC Carthage Message sorry, forgot to answer that

yes, your move is legal

both ports are -2 for a total of -4; Mago's ability provides another -1, so total DRM is -5 and the move is automatic

note, if Mago travels alone or with 1 CU, that would be another -1, for a total of -6

I suppose maybe you didn't realize this is Mago's special ability since this is the first time I used it in the game.

Let me know if this isn't fully legal:

moves to Taurini--drops 1 CU
moves through Boii to Verona--drops 1 CU
moves back to Boii with a total of 6 CU there and conducts subjugation roll

219 3/31/2019 8:27:00 PM 215-214 BC Rome Message OK -- was thinking of Sicily as included in Italy

then: 2 CU to what is now Flaminius, 1 CU each to the other two armies, 1 to Rome and Varro does not pick up a CU from Marcellus

That leads to now:
- Marcellus: 10 CU
- Varro: 8 CU after dropping 2 CU off
- Flaminius: 7 CU
- Rome: 2 CU

If we're going back to correct things, should you have either left 1 CU in Spain to avoid rolling on the attrition table when you did your sea move (post 185) or rolled?
