124 2/19/2019 12:14:00 PM 216 BC Carthage Message I will look at board tonight and let you know who starts.
123 2/19/2019 12:13:00 PM 216 BC Carthage Draw Strategy cards 7 cards drawn.

122 2/19/2019 12:13:00 PM 216 BC Carthage Message I still believe that Generals that can not retreat are displaced (except for Hannibal and Scipio).

Also, Generals that have to lose CU on attrition are NOT displaced even if they have no more troops but Generals that have lost troops due to Retreat (after both sides take attrition) CAN be displaced and if they are 'stuck' on an opponent's PC they can NOT move until they either get more troops or are joined with a moving stack. THUS, Mago is exchanged back to his lines (again) and will probably attempt another sea crossing in the upcoming turns.
121 2/19/2019 12:00:00 PM 216 BC Rome Message Rome will not preempt, over to you to decide on who goes first.
Do we know what Mago's fate is, I am unsure what Tim was saying in his follow-up?

Message from Rome:
Rolling on the 5/6 table for combat losses
107 2/18/2019 10:15:00 PM 217 BC Rome Message I'm not sure about this. 10.10
"A General is not displaced if all CU's under his command are removed due to the Attrition Table, the Storms at Sea Event, or the Land Battle Casualties die roll."
I'll do the roll, and then we can figure it out...
106 2/18/2019 10:05:00 PM 217 BC Carthage Message yes sorry for confusion - I lose him for this turn
not the game - ONLY Hannibal and Big S for the Romans
never come back if captured
105 2/18/2019 7:19:00 PM 217 BC Rome Message Bob, I thought if a force is eliminated on the attrition table roll the General is captured, and you don't get him back. But if the force is eliminated during the retreat he comes back next turn. So in the last battle, as you only lost the two CU's in the retreat, you got the General back. Is this correct?
104 2/18/2019 6:06:00 PM 217 BC Carthage Message you are only rolling for your loses for 5 rounds of combat

I am surrounded - lose both my CU and my General
but do not have to remove a PC this combat

Over to you for reaction/roll/cards?
77 2/14/2019 5:00:00 PM 217 BC Rome Message No problemo Bob. Will put Mago with friendly tribe when I get home. Might modify my move when I get in front of map, so donít roll or play a card yet.
76 2/14/2019 2:38:00 PM 217 BC Carthage Message My fault - I'll live with it but I had meant to move
Mago inland on to the tribal space once I safely landed.

If you allow me to I will - if you don't - no sweat
