Rule 6.3.1 A friendly airbase hex is any controlled city hex (a fortress, major, or minor city) that could serve as a supply source (see 4.6.3).

15.3 AIR ATTACKS ON AIR BASES:
When a battle location hex is in an air base hex that contains none of the phasing side's ground units, an “airbase attack” is resolved during an Air Combat Segment. In airbase attacks, a defending air unit normally has its defense factor modified by “+2”, but, if the defending air unit is marked with a do not use unit, the defense factor is not modified.

The attack at Odessa meets the definition in the first sentence so qualifies for the defensive bonus. It isn't so much you are attacking the air base as the fact there is one there allows the defending fighters to be much more effective because of the short travel time from their base to the actual combat.

Battle 13(Odessa J10) was at 0 not +2. My Air had a +2 modifier, see 15.3 second sentence.

After defeating my Air with the roll of a 6; which is 0/1r not 0/2r, you must attack my 4-4-7. See 14.4.4.1. The odds will be 0; I am 4 plus 2 for the base attack, you are 4 plus 2 for Air vs Naval. I will stay on a roll of 1, 3, or 4. I retreat on other rolls.

My instructions for the Battle in hex W4 were retreat if possible. You rolled a 4 with the result of 1/0. Since your retreat was not mandatory my retreat came first. My unit in W4 is in W5 and your unit in W3 is in W4.

You did not rebase either your Air at Odessa or your Air at Vitebsk.

Your 40 German Panzer began the exploitation phase in O10. At the beginning of the exploitation phase it was not in supply in that hex. This means you can't move it in exploitation, see 8.2.

If you wish to change anything in your R&T or exploitation based on the above feel free.

You aren't allowed to move thru my units just because they are in a Battle hex. There is no way for 52 Inf to reach AA5 therefore you can't convert the rail there.

1) You didn't roll weather. Recommend we modify our rule agreements to include the weather is automatically Fair in all weather zones for June 41.

2)Battle 1(UU11) is +1 not +2. See note 2 on the Combat Results Table specifying the Finns don't get the +1 first turn attack bonus. In addition I think you forgot a "Railroad Pending" marker.

3) Battle 2(TT17) is +1 not +2. Same reason.

Battle 3(TT18) is -1 not +1. Same reason for one of the difference and think you missed the river for the other.

4) Battle 10(FF6) is +3 not +2. My unit base is 2 not 3.

5) Battle 14(BB4) is 0 not +2. Looks like you forgot the -2 for Armor in a Major City(7.2.2.1).

6) My 13 Inf has no possible response move.
Rule 6.2.1 The non-phasing player has the option to immediately move a ground unit or units in “response movement” whenever an enemy ground unit or units is moved from one zone of control hex to another zone of control hex of the same non-phasing ground unit or units without causing a battle.
Since you caused a battle no response move is possible.

My 3-3-7 in Riga will evacuate to the only legal choice Tallinn.
