You consolidated the air-naval battle with the ground battle and that's not the way it works. Air-naval and ground are always separate, with the air-naval being resolved first. Since it was an ambush, your air flotilla that was eliminated does not counter attack. You had 26 hit points and got a "1/4" result, so it caused no damage to my guys. Now the ground battle is resolved. |

#12: 2 / Commander Rochefort: HYPO Success - JN25 Code break Intelligence: Ambush. Bonus: During all battles of this Offensive, the Allied player achieves a critical hit result on all modified air-naval combat die rolls of 9 or greater. Remove from play if used as an event. OC: 2 EC: 0 Message from Allies: T5 J AP4 reaction All four of my air units in the area will activate with a total of 27 hit points. I will play this for an ambush. I get a total of +5 to my drm -- if I get a crit.hit I will elim the 3 Air Flot in Hanoi, if not, flip both 1 and 3 Air Flots. Since it is an ambush, my roll is made first and only your surviving units can hit back. My return move will leave everyone where they are, so you can go ahead and roll the combats and complete your turn. Would you also move my 4th Indian corps from Dacca to hex 2106? |

#2: 1 / Imperial HQ Debate: Japanese Inter-Service rivalry Flip the Japanese Inter-Service Rivalry Marker from its Strategic Agreement to its Inter-Service Rivalry side. No additional impact if Inter-Service Rivarly is already in effect. Draw one Strategy Card. OC: 1 EC: 0 Message from Allies: T5 US AP1 I adjusted the game turn -- not sure shy it didn't update, because I ended the turn before I drew cards... The only effect on the map is to flip your Inter-Service Rivalry marker to it's rivalry side, so I won't do a move file and just let you let you do that as part of your next move. I get to draw another card, too... |
