341 3/2/2019 12:33:00 PM Turn 4 British Message This may something of a typical turn in the Full Game in which little happens except the RN getting beat up by weather. In this scenario it hasn't been necessary to keep ships in blockade once you combined your fleet so even that's gone.

The provisions chits are 2 of 5 allowing a French or Spanish fleet to sail and in Brest you must get one specific wind to sortie. I don't know what the odds are but I'd say on a given turn you have about a 25% chance to get out of Brest. We are now waiting to see if the odds can let me catch up in strength by getting the arrival of Stracahan and Nelson before you get to sortie.

I would guess you can leave it on the map or remove it as you wish at that point. You are limited to 8 FOW blocks so at some point having one penned up in harbor might be not so good for you.

If you send damaged ships to port I get an idea of something happening because their arrival is reported in the newspapers or my spies see something. IF you keep the damaged ships with the fleet I don't know what's happened. As to picking them, there are only a few "super" ships and most of the ships tend to a middle value of 74 guns so choosing isn't that far off from random. And yes, doing it another way would slow the game down.
