Jackson n6 to Madison, attack Elizabeth AR
297 6/16/2019 12:55:00 PM Spring 1863 Union Play Strategy card as Operations #101: 3 / Chickamauga
Confederate Player may move 5 SPs using Strategic Movement (rail connections only) to the same space with a Confederate General who is then activated and must attempt to enter a space with at least one or more Union SPs or fort. If a general casualty occurs in a battle caused by this card, the Commanding General is eligible, this is an exception to the rules. See 4.5.

Message from Union:
Activate Hooker out of Grant's army. He takes no SPs with him.
1-3. To Cairo IL, pick up 6SP.
4-6. To Gaineville AR, drop 2SP

293 6/14/2019 8:54:00 AM Spring 1863 Union Play Strategy card as Event #58: 2 / Admiral Porter
Union may make a naval move with up to three SPs plus one general. If an amphibious assault occurs, you receive an additional +2 DRM. Add +2DRM to any Running the Guns die roll.

Message from Union:
2SP from WDC will AA fort Gadson. No die rolls required, as an AA vs an ungarrisoned coastal fort with 2SP is always successful.
292 6/11/2019 6:01:00 PM Spring 1863 Confederate Play Strategy card as Event #26: 3 / Cotton is King
If played by Union, reduce Confederate SW by 2; if played by Confederate, Confederate immediately receives two SPs in any Blockade Runner port, no more than one SP per port, but more than 1SP per Blockade zone is permitted. 289 6/11/2019 12:58:00 PM Spring 1863 Union Play Strategy card as Event #74: 2 / Political Crisis
The Union player may remove or demote one Union general for no SW cost. The cost for promoting a general with a lower political value still applies. OR remove ANY Union non-commanding general (even second in commands) from the game.

Message from Union:
Buell is recalled to WDC. While he won 3 easy fights, he failed to capture Memphis. Grant is promoted to command the army, Buell will return next turn. No SW loss due to event.

On vacation this week, so not always able to implement card plays. Go ahead and shuffle the leaders around with your next action.

The CSA lost 2SP, so I removed the two infantry SPs and left Forrest with 2SP. Beauregard retreats with him, as he is the force commander. You could also take a cavalry SP as one of the SP losses, so that would leave Forrest with 1SP and 1SP of infantry.

Either player can play this card as an EC when Confederate SW is 110+. EFFECTS: 1. Union Blockade reduced by one (cannot become greater than 4 for the remainder of the game). 2. Union -2 SP Reinforcements for the remainder of the game (Union choice). 3. Union SW reduced by 10. Remove from deck if event is played. If card is played as an OC or discarded re-shuffle deck at end of the Strategy Phase.
