133 5/12/2019 5:56:00 PM Spring 1862 Confederate Message yes i thought about going after you, but i felt realistically it would be a 1v1, then you could continue with 5 SP to charleston and drop a dude off and still be attacking at 4-1 (or even if you dropped another guy off earlier in branchville would be 3-1) in savanah. youd still have access to the sea and get reinforced..now i wouldnt be able to re-arrange my SP up north and lose them to unncesssary attrition, and you can reinforce pope via sea + bowling green to take on nashville...didnt have the dice or cards this game series

we can try the US civil war...it's a bit lengthy the rule book (without the advanced rules). have a look at it and let me know what you think. if not, we could try either twilight struggle or labyrinth if you've played those before?
132 5/12/2019 5:04:00 PM Spring 1862 Union Message Okay. I think you should have attacked Pope with your corps from Nashville when you had the minor campaign. You could just reach him and any loses to Pope would have made the odds against the sole SP better for you...

Whatever... FtP haven't treated you nicely. Let's move on. You talked about another Civil War game some time ago...?

131 5/12/2019 9:31:00 AM Spring 1862 Confederate Message lol i concede then...lets move on to another game, this has been too frustrating for me..i hvnt won a single battle in 4 games as confederate when it actually counts and i'm going to have to give way to many resources to stop you in the south and cant defend richmond...puls your hands have been too good...even your 1's are actual useful 1's haha

90 5/5/2019 4:10:00 PM Spring 1862 Union Message According to the thread you are correct. I just randomized all of them when I was CSA, getting a cav leader where I didn't want him and such...

Anyways, you still have to randomize your cav generals and not just place them. Who knows, Forrest just might end up the wrong place...
89 5/5/2019 10:36:00 AM Spring 1862 Confederate Message According to that and some other posts, you randomize generals and cavalry ones separately. The cavalry all have diffferent backs so you would know when a cavalry is placed compared to a normal general. The entire process is supposed to be random. So I should roll for my cavalry guys to randomize them, but lee can go where I want. If I had 2 generals this then along with the 3 cavalry, I would have to randomize both general or place them in same spot is my understanding
