381 6/14/2019 9:12:00 AM May-Aug 1943 Japanese Message Definitely a fantastic and enjoyable game. You're an excellent player and kept me on my toes. If that roll had gone the other way, I might have been the one calling uncle. ACTS dice roller is such a fickle thing.

For CSW Expo, is on my bucket list, but I'm in Western NY, so WBC is my gaming conference for now. I'll be there with Chris Crane helping him GM using the South Pac scenario. Fantastic fun.

I'll report this up to Chris Crane. Best of luck with the rest of the tourney.
380 6/13/2019 11:48:00 PM May-Aug 1943 Allies Message Nimitz is no longer even invited to the Christmas party...

I think I will call 'Uncle' here. Not enough forces left to get my PoW point with the cards I have remaining.

Well played Chris... you got me on the ropes early, and I was never able to get a breath.

Thoroughly enjoyed my thrashing and our friendly banter. I wish you good fortune going forward in the tourney.

Any chance you make it out to the ConsimWorld Expo? It would be great to meet, and play some FtF.

my best,
Mark

If the US Inter-Service Rivalry marker is already on Strategic Agreement side there is no additional effect. Bonus: In addition the Allied player immediately receives 3 Chinese ground and 1 Allied air replacement steps that must be used immediately (cannot be saved) on in supply units. Allied air units can be in the air units in China box. In addition, the Allies may immediately construct the Jarhat Trans Route for no cost. CVL San J to Lae
332 6/3/2019 2:27:00 PM Jan-Apr 1943 Japanese Message Ok... I spent a bit more time looking... at the moment, your two units in Menado and Morotai, are out of supply... the route from any HQ (SW Pac closest) would need to go completely over the sea, and it is possible to trace the path through Gili Gili, but it is greater than 20 hexes. And you can't trace through Port Moresby/Lae because it is more than one supply eligible port in the path...

That being said, they can still be activiated as the path is different and there is a clear path shorter than 20 hexes.

I'm sure your final move will consider this, but just want to be clear that those two hexes are not in supply in their current state.
331 6/3/2019 12:11:00 PM Jan-Apr 1943 Japanese Message Hey before you send your next move can you trace you supply to those two units? I think they are OOS.
330 6/1/2019 8:57:00 PM Jan-Apr 1943 Japanese Message Sigh... I really considered covering those three with AZOI with my last card instead of FO... I don't see anything wrong with the play though. Stretching those supply lines pretty thin to those guys, but unfortunately, I can't break them "yet".

No valid reactions available to me.

3 down, one to go...
329 6/1/2019 1:37:00 PM Jan-Apr 1943 Allies Play Strategy card as Event #55: 3 / Operation Forager: Marianas Is. Invasion
Activate: Any HQ. Logistic Value: 6 if US Central Pac HQ, for all others: 4 The Great Marianas Turkey Shoot: Japanese aircraft carrier naval units have their attack strength reduced by 2 for the duration of this Offensive. 305 5/26/2019 8:27:00 PM Jan-Apr 1943 Japanese Message Ugh... sorry about that.

I'll have brought in the Kamikaze then from Eniwetok. Which only gives me 78CF.

The result will be the same though.

Sink CV Lexington - 24
Sink BB Mass - 32
Flip BB Miss - 12
Flip CA Northampton - 8

Then with the Subs, sink the BB Miss.

Feel free to adjust your results, if you would rather flip the Kamikaze over the Tenryu.
304 5/26/2019 8:17:00 PM Jan-Apr 1943 Allies Message I should have caught it earlier, but [1AD] could not have been sent due to ISR with those other Navy boys. I am not calling for any change in the game, just pointing it out for both of us going forward... :-)
303 5/26/2019 8:13:00 PM Jan-Apr 1943 Allies Message My PBM sends [CA North] and 7AF back to Funa.
302 5/26/2019 8:11:00 PM Jan-Apr 1943 Allies Message Still a Japanese victory, although only Allied survival to another turn will make it Pyrrhic.

56 hits, but only 2 at-range can be affected.

I will apply 24 to Shokaku, 24 to Akagi, and 8 to Tenryu.

Yamato flips per your card.
301 5/26/2019 6:54:00 PM Jan-Apr 1943 Japanese Message CA Northampton is flipped.
