61 7/18/2019 4:38:00 PM 217 BC Rome Message Hi Mike,

Yeah I think so.

It would take a turn or two just to rebuild Rome's position at this point.

I doubt that you would give me the time to do so. :-)

I really should have taken more time to brush up on the rules and checking the board a bit better between moves.

Congratulations and good luck with the next round.

Regards, Jeff
60 7/16/2019 4:32:00 PM 217 BC Carthage Message Jeff:

Those really are two pretty small mistakes very early in the game.

Are you sure you don't want to play on further for fun and see how things go? You can always bow out in a turn or two if you feel things are irreversible.

Mike
59 7/16/2019 4:01:00 PM 217 BC Rome Message Shoot.... total spaced the PC not being flipped under Scipo… to used the hover function in ASL where I can see what's underneath I guess.

That's two serious errors in the first turn - miscalculated support in Spain.

Going to just surrender my sword at this point - really poor play on my part.

Good luck going forwards.

Regards, Jeff

55 7/15/2019 7:20:00 PM 218 BC Carthage Message I forgot to mention this at the start of the game. I like to use the Messenger Intercepted optional rule to minimize the impact of an MI play in the late (especially last) turn of the game. It's not relevant at this point, but will be later in the game.

I'd like to use that rule, if it's okay with you. However, we have already started play, so I understand if you don't want to. I've just seen too many games turned around by that card in that last turn or so.

Let me know what you think.
