390 11/2/2019 8:56:00 PM Summer 1864 Confederate Play Strategy card as Operations #14: 3 / Red River Campaign
May not be discarded by the Union. Union must use this card as an OC. If at the conclusion of movement, a Union SP is not on or adjacent to Grand Ecore, LA, then the Union loses 5 SW points. If a Union SP is in one of the objective spaces then a Union PC marker can immediately be placed to convert the space or spaces. Remove from deck if Union plays card.

All SPs associated with the army must be moved (no dropping off SPs), except 1 SP may be left if the Army began its movement from a fort (if last SP, move completed). If played by the Confederate, he draws a card from the Union hand which is discarded, and the Union player follows the instructions of this card as his next card play.

313 8/25/2019 2:28:00 PM Fall 1863 Confederate Play Strategy card as Event #89: 1 / Quaker Guns
Play as an interrupt to cancel the activation of any Union general with a strategy rating of 2 or 3.

Message from Confederate:
Cancelling Curtis' activation ... he and his SPs must remain in Lynchburg.
312 8/25/2019 2:24:00 PM Fall 1863 Union Play Strategy card as Operations #40: 3 / Emergency Call for Volunteers
Union receives five SPs, no more than two SPs in any space. Placement spaces must be friendly controlled, have a LOC and be free of Confederate SPs or forts.

Message from Union:
Sorry...here is the card I used for my last operation.
311 8/25/2019 2:23:00 PM Fall 1863 Union Message May regret as two reinforcement cards for 10SPs not used. Just want to try something different.

310 8/25/2019 12:45:00 PM Fall 1863 Confederate Play Strategy card as Operations #59: 2 / Farragut
Union may make a naval more with up to three SPs plus one general. Move may pass one ungarrisoned fort without “running the guns” to conduct an amphibious assault (may not pass an ironclad). Ignore first torpedo encountered during naval move. If the port space is captured it immediately receives a Union PC marker. Add +2 to Running the Guns die roll.

Message from Confederate:
AoNV (12-2) drop Longstreet and Wheeler + 1 in Manassas (AoNV 10-1):
1) Convert Manassas
2-3) Overrun USA SP in Culpepper (convert), d2 (8-1)
4) Attack 2 USA SPs in Gordonsvile

Will assume no card, so result is a 3*-1 CSA win. 2 USA SPs are destroyed and AoNV (7-1) may continue:

5) Convert Gordonsville
6) Attack 2 USA SPs in Wilderness

Will assume no card, so result is a CSA win 2* or 3*-1. 2 USA SPs are destroyed, and AoNV (6-1) must stop.
309 8/24/2019 6:53:00 PM Fall 1863 Union Message Sorry...should have said activate Pope in DC at the beginning of the move even though I know you can see him.

308 8/24/2019 6:48:00 PM Fall 1863 Union Play Strategy card as Operations #114: 3 / Frederick Douglas
Union immediately receives five SPs for raising freemen Negro troops. The SPs can be placed in any single Union controlled space with a LOC in NJ, DE, PA or the space that contains the Union capital that does not contain Confederate SPs or forts. Remove from deck if event is played.

Message from Union:
Activate Pope and 4, leaving 1.
1 Frederick d4 n0 w7-1 there
2 Harpers Ferry pu1
3-4 Frederick and end in DC n2.

Message from Union:
Let's hope no GO loss.
306 8/24/2019 5:56:00 PM Fall 1863 Confederate Message Forgot to mention, the USA fort in Manassas is removed and the Confederate populace yawns.
305 8/24/2019 5:55:00 PM Fall 1863 Confederate Message CSA wins 3*-2. AoP (1-1) loses a GO on a "1" DR, and if Stoneman is lost then the AoP would be eliminated prior to retreating. Otherwise, AoP will be 3-1 in Frederick MD (unless you decide to retreat elsewhere). AoNV (12-2) must remain in Manassas.

Med battle in Manassas VA

CSA: +9

USA: +5
303 8/24/2019 1:58:00 PM Fall 1863 Union Message McClellan is ambivalent. It’s been comfortable in Manassas, but he should run (Grant and the AoC is so far away). However, soon it will be 1864 and while he has not taken Richmond, he has not let DC fall (taking the glory for the work the others did to secure so many spaces in VA). If he puts up a good front, he still might run for the presidency next year.

He decides to stay put, even though he is outmanned (4-1 vs 14-2) and Lee has many great GOs with him.

302 8/24/2019 12:23:00 PM Fall 1863 Confederate Message No need to roll, result is a guaranteed 3*-1 CSA win. 2 USA SPs destroyed and AoNV continues:
5) Convert Fredericksburg
6) Attack AoP in Manassas.

You have options.
301 8/24/2019 11:06:00 AM Fall 1863 Union Message No intercept, no card.
300 8/24/2019 10:59:00 AM Fall 1863 Confederate Play Strategy card as Operations #79: 1 / Indian Allies
Confederate immediately receives one SP in any friendly space in Arkansas (no LOC required) that is free of Union SPs.

Message from Confederate:
AoW (11-1):
1) Drewey's Bluff (pu Wheeler's cav, 12-2)
2) Richmond (pu Longstreet + 3, 15-2 and 1 SP in Richmond)
3) Hanover
4) Fredericksburg to attack the 2 USA SPs therein.

You have options.
299 8/24/2019 8:31:00 AM Fall 1863 Union Play Strategy card as Event #61: 3 / Ship Island/Key West
Union Blockade Level is increased by one. In addition, if Fort Philip/Jackson does not contain a CSA SP place a friendly PC marker in that space.

Message from Union:
Blockade is raised to 2.
