402 9/30/2019 1:53:00 PM Fall 1862 Union Message That is fine, I meant to other games where I am both confederate. But one is about to wrap (fall 64 turn currently).

Yes, looking back I thought it was going to be easier to force you back to guard your river forT. It wasn’t
401 9/30/2019 1:45:00 PM Fall 1862 Confederate Message GG. I get pretty tremendous foothold in IN+IL. I think you made a quite a big mistake sending too many troops to AoP raiding NC on Spring 1862. After you failed ease the pressure, I felt it was the game pretty much. Cant take 2 turns of 2-3 state raids and -5SP reinforcements.

Though it was a quite cheeky move to start with when I raced forward with Van Dorn on Fall 1861 turn raiding those 2 states for the first time.

Happy to start a rematch, set it up. I'll declare if I campaign or not. Though, after that round, I'd like to try Union for a change hoh.
400 9/30/2019 1:38:00 PM Fall 1862 Union Message i would be happy to set up on ACTS and vassal.
399 9/30/2019 1:38:00 PM Fall 1862 Union Message 5*-4. army dies and loses large battle. i want to play again as Union. i've only ever beaten you as the CSA and it was once, i need to work on my Union game.

348 9/28/2019 4:04:00 AM Fall 1862 Union Message only 1 issues. per log 227 you were at 100- and that matches vassal.
but in your EOT you did 101-.

so your final SW at end is 102(+)...only off by 1. i'll place my meager 6 troops in Ohio and 5 in DC
347 9/28/2019 4:00:00 AM Summer 1862 Union End Turn
346 9/28/2019 4:00:00 AM Summer 1862 Union Message yep, and i have a war weariness coming for me in next turn. i really need one of us to draw Emancipation please
345 9/28/2019 3:56:00 AM Summer 1862 Confederate Message Quickly went through the journal and if I got it all added up, it was 17 SP losses for me and 24 SP losses for you this turn after attrition and everything. Pretty wicked.
344 9/28/2019 3:41:00 AM Summer 1862 Confederate Message Of course you can roll for my general casualties, was kidding. It wont get any more random if I push the button. Just bad luck, nothing you can do about it.

EoT:

Capital: nope

PC-phase
CSA: Columbus OH.
Raids: IL, IN and OH

USA: Winchester, Staunton, Charlottesville, Gordonsville -> Virginia converted.

SW-changes
USA 68-15 = 53-
CSA 101-15+15+2 = 103 (missed by inch)

Attrition:
CSA: AoMS -1 n2.
USA: AoM -1 n2.

I'll think thats about it?
West still cut off for you. 3 state capitals taken.
343 9/28/2019 3:39:00 AM Summer 1862 Union Message remember in each sub phase you can pick the order that you take your subtrations and additions so there isn't multiple extra FOWs.

I don't think there is anything for me coming that would give me added SW, just the conversion of VA to hurt you.

12.4 Impact of Changing Fortunes of War
The last movement of the SW markers is denoted by placing it on its plus side (if SW points were added) or negative side (if SW points were subtracted). Whenever the direction of the SW marker changes from negative to plus, the value of the SW transaction is increased by two (for example, winning a large battle after some previous SW subtraction adds 5 SW, not 3). Whenever the direction of the SW marker changes from plus to negative the value of the SW transaction is increased by three (for example, losing a large battle after some previous SW addition subtracts 8 SW, not 5). During the Political Control Phase, the order of multiple SW effects in the same segment or step is determined by the player whom they affect.
342 9/28/2019 3:31:00 AM Summer 1862 Union Message that's fine if you want to roll them, i figured i was already reacting to the combat, it's all randomized. you can roll general casualties for me if and when they occur when you are defending.
341 9/28/2019 3:30:00 AM Summer 1862 Union Message log up as well. both sides have been cut to ribbons. almost no attrition for either side in the EOT phase.
340 9/28/2019 3:29:00 AM Summer 1862 Union Message and you do have Wheeler in central TN.
I'll rtreat by river to Parkersburg WV.

over to you to do end of turn stuff. 3 states raided :( i do take Va from you thanks to Shenandoa spaces being worth 2x each but it might not be enough with one more turn without grant.
339 9/28/2019 3:28:00 AM Summer 1862 Confederate Message I want to roll my general casualtys from now on.

Well too bad. Not an easy day to be horseman. Will add EoT file.

333 9/28/2019 3:10:00 AM Summer 1862 Confederate Message I dont think being in Columbus would be that bad a spot. I can int to both Dayton and Cincinnati. And remember you are the one fighting against the clock not me.

Now that I think of it, just going to Dayton on m6 would have been best. And just to clarify it, I wouldnt have moved to Cincinnati had I remembered I wouldnt be getting the OOS-bonus. Winning certainly on 2-6 instead of 4-6 is a big difference.

But of course will I use best generals, thats a no-brainer.
332 9/28/2019 2:59:00 AM Summer 1862 Union Message so you are wanting to use your +6 of Lee/Stuart and one of your other 1 attack generals?
331 9/28/2019 2:59:00 AM Summer 1862 Union Message yes, per the river supply rules on defense any river port even if CSA controlled supplies a union force in that port space as long as the Union has naval control.

i'm not sure you staying in Columbus would be that wise. you are begging to not draw a campaign card and if I draw a campaign card I could put troops in Sydney OH that intercept when you try to leave and or play a campaign if I get one cutting you off and hitting you.
330 9/28/2019 2:56:00 AM Summer 1862 Union Message I'm getting +6 modifier from this fight. 2 for Burn and Stoneman, 2 for intercept, 2 for you being OOS.

are you going to stay with your deadliest possible combo?
329 9/28/2019 2:55:00 AM Summer 1862 Confederate Message You are? Hoh didn't realize that, just thought you'd be moving in from CSA-controlled space hence you'd be OOS. Would have just stayed in Columbus that case.

Well you can roll for it.
328 9/28/2019 2:54:00 AM Summer 1862 Union Message good old burnside. i am in supply once placed in the space there thanks to the US navy bringing supply via river trace to me from Ohio R flowing down river from Wheeling
