19 9/12/2019 11:13:00 AM Jan-Apr 1943 Japanese Message Larry,
You can only create more than one Battle hex if you are play a Mil Event. This is an OC play, so you can only hit one hex. Also, you may want to consider holding this card in the FOQ, as it is an Offensive draw card, AND it can put me back in ISR should I manage to get out. It can be tremendously useful to keep JP in ISR as it really makes reaction difficult.

12 9/10/2019 7:26:00 PM Jan-Apr 1943 Japanese Message Larry,
We are playing the 1943 Campaign Game, not the 1 year Scenario, so you can't use a "3" to cancel ISR. I probably should have mentioned that. My Bad!
Also, I forgot to send you my draw for the turn. Don't send me yours, as I want to tell you what I'm thinking you might do!

Message from Allies:
good point...one of my short comings in this game is only looking at the current pulse and not looking at future pulses...I couldn't use this card because I couldn't attack the Philippines...my bad...
9 9/9/2019 6:34:00 PM Jan-Apr 1943 Japanese Message Larry,
I'd like to propose that you rethink that last move. That is an 11 Activation Card, which could potentially crush someplace like Rabaul, with the sacrifice of 1 CV step (you get two USN Replacements next turn) attacking the Philippines, and maybe an LRB hitting Truk. You would need to set it up first by getting a CV within 15 of Davao or Manila, but that shouldn't be a problem...
Anyway, tell me what you think...
8 9/8/2019 5:22:00 PM Jan-Apr 1943 Allies Play Strategy card as Operations #65: 3 / MacArthur "moral obligation": US Invades Philippines
Activate: Any HQ. Logistic Value: 8 if SW Pac HQ, for all others: 6 Conditions: This card may only be played as an event if at least one battle hex is declared in a Philippine hex. Bonus: This event ends a US inter-service rivalry. Flip the US Inter-Service Rivalry marker to its Strategic Agreement side. If the US Inter-Service Rivalry marker is already on Strategic Agreement side there is no additional effect. Remove from play if used as an event.
