Either player may move 2 SPs using Strategic Movement from the same space using rail connections only (10 space maximum) to the same space with a General who is then activated and must attempt to enter a space with at least one or more enemy SPs or fort. OR play this card as an automatic 2 space interception. Intervening space must be friendly controlled and free of enemy SPs. The intervening space may be the one just exited by the moving enemy force. No Generals or SPs may be picked up or dropped off during the intercept.

no enemy general so i will win 1-1 or better and be able to continue even if it's a tie due to force ratio, plus no enemy general to make me halt in event of tie/defender eliminated.
29 10/1/2019 10:16:00 AM Spring 1861 Confederate Message well 2:1 is important also, if you win the battle you can keep moving, otherwise your move is done...think of it as momentum. so for armies it is really important because you already only get 6 MPs with them so if you can achieve a 2:1 or better, then at least you can keep moving after the battle if you win rather than be forced to halt and not follow up your success.

It is hard to win battle in the civil war when attacking unless you have good DRMs on your side. as it should be. so you either need to build an army with decent subordinates or achieve localized force superior of at least 3-1 or get the enemy out of supply.

thanks to what you did, i have to now use this card in a very different way. activate AS Johnston. moving only on friendly RR spaces meaning 10 MP instead of 8. 5 MPs to Memphis where he grabs Polk and the 1 SP, n2. 6-7th: Columbus, drop Polk and 1 SP, n1. 8th-9th to Dover and halt with his 1 SP.
