43 12/5/2019 5:56:00 PM 218 BC Carthage Message Looked a little closer, I think you meant Pro is P Scip. and then the Consuls you stated line up with the 2nd and 3rd available per the Valley game map going left to right.
42 12/5/2019 5:49:00 PM 218 BC Carthage Message Valley game map has the Turn 1 consuls in the first two position, so assuming one is Proconsul, the other is #1. Moving from the left, #2 is G. Flam. and #3 is F. Max.?
41 12/5/2019 5:47:00 PM 218 BC Carthage Message I am not clear on how you elect the Consuls, I assume you are rolling a 7 sided dice and 1 is the leftmost available Consul, not certain if the Valley games map I use on vassal has them in the same order as what map you use?

I use Vassal too. Exchange files at turn end would be fine.
16 12/3/2019 7:41:00 PM 218 BC Carthage Message I use vassal to track the boardstate, willing to share a common set of files in dropbox, google drive, or perhaps just send a file or screenshot at the end of the turn to check in.
15 12/3/2019 7:41:00 PM 218 BC Carthage Message And we are off! Greetings, I live in Eugene, Oregon, USA. I am retired from the US Air Force after 26 years, but now work at the University of Oregon, I think I work harder now after "retirement" than before, but I have 1 kid left in the house (two more in college) so I have about 10 years before I truly retire! I take my laptop to work and can keep up the turns during most days unless things are crazy. With HRC, i find many of the responses, especially the battles are fast turns and can keep up. No rush, as I have other games going (Paths of Glory is the most time consuming), but I tend to play at a good pace.

Message from Rome:
I tried some of the optional cards last game and ended up never doing much, so simple is good, plus helps me practice my game.....rolling for first bid, odd I bid first, even you bid.
2 12/3/2019 3:26:00 AM 218 BC Carthage Message Hi Greg. Simple is best for me. I am in London UK, but am retired so moves should not be too difficult. If OK, do you want to throw to decide who bids first?
1 12/2/2019 7:24:00 PM 218 BC Rome Message John, I believe we are matched up for HRC. I didn't have your email so just using ACTS to get a discussion rolling for now. Do you have any preference on games, optional cards, etc? I am OK with a vanilla game, or if you want to try any of the new options out, I am up for that too.
