524 1/11/2020 3:58:00 PM 203-201 BC Rome Message Yeah, what did you roll like 7 straight succesful interceptions? I actually think that really turned the game. I would have been able to superstack on a tribe if you failed one of those. Putting down the two to stop him was a great move.
523 1/11/2020 3:57:00 PM 203-201 BC Rome Message Yeah, almost went to Spain but figured you had more than one 3 and after I had to spend my two 3's to sail I would have only been able to move twice with my last two's. Five ones when all you have is 2 or 3 generals on the board does not help.
522 1/11/2020 3:52:00 PM 203-201 BC Carthage Message Also, I really liked the Varro gambit to dislodge Hannibal from Mutina. Hannibal was exceedingly lucky to hold out for so long in that guerilla campaign in Cisalpina.
521 1/11/2020 3:48:00 PM 203-201 BC Carthage Message Yep, and I think we pulled every single 1 which is pretty shocking.
520 1/11/2020 3:48:00 PM 203-201 BC Carthage Message Same thing here ;) I pulled all these 1s and had a choice of whether to start moving Hannibal with them to convert Italy or fight in Africa. Kept the only 3 back in case I needed to salvage Spain.

Great move not letting Hasdrubal return to Spain in that battle in Mutina -- was very worried about that.
519 1/11/2020 3:43:00 PM 203-201 BC Rome Message How neither of us got a campaign card with 2 out there and only nine cards remaining is shocking
518 1/11/2020 3:43:00 PM 203-201 BC Rome Message Tense is an understatement I think, haha. When I saw my cards I figured your hand must have been amazing until I saw you use Epidemic to move. Scipio Africanus also was a disgrace to Roman pride and honor.
517 1/11/2020 3:40:00 PM 203-201 BC Carthage Message Final score is 10-8. Will send the report to Tim.

There were some very good cards left in the deck. Looks like we both pulled all the bad stuff. This was really close. If any one of those last two battles would have gone your way, you would have won. Well-played, this was a very tense game!
516 1/11/2020 3:38:00 PM 203-201 BC Rome Message Good game

(Carthage) Play during any battle. You may use this card as a Double Envelopment BC which (if matched) does not automatically give the defender the initiative.
