49 1/23/2020 12:15:00 PM Summer 1861 Union Message Tim,
When you only have 1 Cavalry General you don't have to roll for him, just put him anywhere you want. When you have a bunch of Cav. Generals you roll for them separately from your other Generals.
Also, strat moves can only be by rail unless they are moving TO an Army. So SP at Little Rock cannot move right now.
Do you want to move someone else to Nashville, and do you want to change Stuarts location?
48 1/23/2020 12:11:00 PM Summer 1861 Confederate Message Do go first my fine gentleman.

The intervening space may be the one just exited by the moving enemy force. No Generals or SPs may be picked up or dropped off during the intercept.

27 1/20/2020 10:01:00 AM Spring 1861 Confederate Message I guess that would make sense but I took the risk knowing this was possible. I appreciate the offer.
TY

26 1/19/2020 2:25:00 PM Spring 1861 Union Message Tim,
Since you are just getting back into the game, how about if we leave one SP in Richmond before that attack?
That would mean Beauregard would have two SP.
25 1/19/2020 2:06:00 PM Spring 1861 Confederate Message Seems like it.

Oh well.

20 1/18/2020 4:07:00 PM Spring 1861 Union Message No problem. I was very fortunate a few years ago to have someone introduce me to the game, and discovered just about every mistake that can be made!
19 1/18/2020 2:50:00 PM Spring 1861 Confederate Message Thank you for clearing up the battle. I am quite rusty on the rules so will need some help at first.
AJ finishes in Paducah with 2, dover now empty.
18 1/18/2020 12:02:00 PM Spring 1861 Union Message Can you clarify the move by A.J.? He starts in Nashville with 1 SP.
Also, you cannot attack Cairo from Paducah until you either build a Fort there, or place an Ironclad there.
The Union owns the rivers, only your forts and ironclads keep me at bay.
Never been to Nashville, but I lived in Johnson City, Tennessee for a year. Very nice place, but too close to Eastman Chemical-a company that did everything possible to destroy the place.
17 1/18/2020 11:53:00 AM Spring 1861 Union Message J. Johnston to TT.

15 1/18/2020 11:52:00 AM Spring 1861 Union Message Tim, the battle in Strasburg was a medium battle with 6 SP's, so the result was actually 3*/3.
As you only had 1 SP, I can only lose 2 SP, so AoP is now 3 SP, but can continue the move. I'll use my last MP to drop 1 SP and move to Franklin (n2).
Also, as the Union roll was a modified 10 we have to roll for General Casualties. Union was attacking at greater than 3:1 so we only roll for CSA.
14 1/18/2020 10:51:00 AM Spring 1861 Confederate Play Strategy card as Event #84: 3 / Major Campaign
Conduct up to three moves or conduct one special army-size naval move. No SP, general, or army marker may be moved twice with the same campaign card. You must move a different force each move.

Question, can AJ entre Cairo via Paducah? If so then I will do that. If not, AJ stays in Nashville to listen to soem music. Quite the up and coming music scene I hear.

7 1/16/2020 1:59:00 PM Spring 1861 Union Play Strategy card as Operations #130: 3 / Union Siege Guns
Union plays card at beginning of a battle (or Amphibious Assault) that has a Confederate fort present and cancels Confederate fort die roll modifier in the battle. Remove from deck if event is played. Draw a strategy card.

Message from Union:
Activate AoP, drop 1 SP in D.C. (n1)

Will continue if possible....
6 1/16/2020 1:49:00 PM Spring 1861 Confederate Message Hi,

No campaign for me. Dropbox works well for me, otherwise we should compare after every reinforcement phase as that is when most of the mistakes could happen.

I am in Montreal. I am also good for a move a day except potentially saturday type thing.

No campaign, although I could....:-)

4 1/16/2020 12:07:00 PM Spring 1861 Union Message Hi Tim,
Good luck to you as well! Iím playing out of Eugene, Oregon. Good for at least a card a day. Do you want to exchange files, Drop Bix, or just wing it? I think as long as we compare once every few turn we are probably OK.
Iíll get my first card up in just a bit. Can I assume you are not campaigning to open the game?
