gg. I'll inform the GM
88 2/7/2020 8:47:00 AM Summer 1861 Confederate Message I can continue playing for you to see how it ends but I may not be timely as the tournament requires.

If this ok, go ahead and send me your board.
87 2/7/2020 8:38:00 AM Summer 1861 Union Message If you say so. I've lost the capital in some games on first turns yet managed to make it a game.

But bummer would have liked to see this going. Will I inform the result?
86 2/7/2020 8:32:00 AM Summer 1861 Confederate Message It is pretty difficult to compete against all the 3 cards as well as campaign card in the first 2 turns. I've played about 20 games and I have never seen hands like yours.

CSA losses it capital, will have very few SP's left and no reinforcements arrive next turn, leaving the CSA open to invasion on all fronts next turn. The CSA SW will be zero in a few turns. So don't see much reason to prolong the obvious.
85 2/7/2020 8:24:00 AM Summer 1861 Union Message Are you sure? The game hasnt even started. I can send you my vassal save to compare board state.
84 2/7/2020 8:17:00 AM Summer 1861 Confederate Message Sorry I don't show the counts you do. (I show Fredrick 1SP, Harper's Ferry 2SP, e.g.) I will concede the game.

8.1. Lines of communication
"All spaces of the path (except the space of the force) must be friendly-controlled or neutral, and free of enemy SPs or forts"

You cant trace a LOC to a resource space or blockade runner port without crossing a space where my SP is stationed.

So I'd say the battle in Hanover was 1-1. And Pope took an extra step to Urbanna, he didn't stop in Hanover.
77 2/6/2020 11:07:00 AM Summer 1861 Union Message I'll give you the exact page number later. You cant trace LOC through enemy troops. Thats the whole point of my encircling move.
76 2/6/2020 10:36:00 AM Summer 1861 Confederate Message CSA is not OOS. You do not have control of the spaces until the political control phase.

Result remains no losses for CSA, Pope not on turn track, and Beauregard remains in Hanover with 2SP after dropping 1SP in Manassas
75 2/6/2020 9:32:00 AM Summer 1861 Union Message Oh and you took 1sp loss as you were OOS too.

So can you rewrite your final moves a bit. Pope in Urbanna with 1sp and the battle in Hanover was 1-1
74 2/6/2020 9:30:00 AM Summer 1861 Union Message Pope was sitting in Urbanna with 1sp. He only dropped 1sp in Hanover
73 2/6/2020 9:18:00 AM Summer 1861 Confederate Message Pope to time track, no losses for CSA

Beauregard returns to Manassas and drops 1SP(n2) and returns to Hanover to end movement

Message from Confederate:
62 2/4/2020 9:48:00 AM Summer 1861 Union Message You can check it from the rules.

5.51 CAVALRY BRIGADE CREATION
"A Cavalry Brigade is created when a Cav-alry General is placed on the map. Immedi-ately upon placement, the Cavalry General and 1 SP in the space are removed from the map and replaced with the appropriately named Cavalry Brigade. "
61 2/4/2020 8:54:00 AM Summer 1861 Union Message Sure it does but the total amount of SPs is only 4.

Manassas didnt have any SPs before reinforcements.
After reinforcements, 1SP
After rail movements, 1SP + 6SP -> 7SPs
After Large battle 7SPs - 3SPs -> 4SPs

There is only 4 not 5 SPs there. Like I said, Stuart doesnt bring his own SP with him. He merely converts existing SP to a cavalry brigade.
60 2/4/2020 8:14:00 AM Summer 1861 Confederate Message Per 5.21, cavalry brigade counts toward the 5 SP.
59 2/4/2020 7:55:00 AM Summer 1861 Union Message No can do. You need at least 5SPs in a space to create an army.

Redo please.

54 2/2/2020 11:27:00 PM Summer 1861 Union Message Stuart's cavalry brigade does count as 1SP. He doesnt bring one of his own extra SPs to the game but converts 1SP to his cavalry brigade.

You brought and railed a total of 7SPs in Manassas. After you place Stuart, there are just 6 regular SPs and 1 cavalry brigade for a total of 7.

48 2/2/2020 9:11:00 AM Summer 1861 Union Message But anyway, let me get your general placement straight:

JJ + Stuart in Manassas
Smith in Richmond
Bragg in Columbus KY

Correct?
47 2/2/2020 9:09:00 AM Summer 1861 Union Message Its not written like that in the rulebook if I remember correctly. However, when you play tabletop version, the cavalry generals have different kind of counter so when your all generals are face-down and you are putting them on the map you know where to put your cavalry general. Its also a way of playing every pro game, you can check one of Nick Pei's games for example here in ACTS.

46 2/2/2020 8:47:00 AM Summer 1861 Confederate Message Manassas does have 7SP

In my other game, I was told that there is not a separate roll for the Cavalry Generals. They are included with the other generals. Please let me know the rule you are referencing regarding separate cavalry general rolls.

As for Stuart, he is where I would like hime.
45 2/2/2020 8:35:00 AM Summer 1861 Union Message You roll for generals and cavalry generals separately. Meaning that as you have only 1 cavalry general incoming, you can decide where it will go.

So where do you wish to place him?

Oh, and Manassas should be 7SP right now? You put 1SP there with reinforcements and railed 6 more.
