97 2/21/2020 1:09:00 PM Fall 1861 Union Message Chris,
My text :
At the moment where he want to take 2SP in Richmond it seams ok, he has 5MP left. he can redress the situation. But he wants to fight in Manassas for his 6th MP. So with the 2MP left, he will not be able to move to Richmond and redress the situation.

the answer of James Pei:

then you cry foul and point to Rule 5.34 Player Note.... he cannot make this move.

----

You must redo
96 2/19/2020 7:54:00 AM Fall 1861 Confederate Message I don't believe 5.34 & 5.36 apply since the Corps was independent at the beginning of the activation.
95 2/19/2020 7:51:00 AM Fall 1861 Confederate Message So, if VD picks up Pemberton on his first swing through Richmond, that means the VD Corps will have two generals and 3SPs (legal). That will leave AoNV with 1 SP and 5 generals, A. Johnston, J. Johnston, Stuart, Polk and Beauregard. Per 5.29, I have to have enough strength points to allow for SP+3 generals. If I don't then you get to remove "X" generals to bring it back into the limits. I am not sure what the debate is about since it is clearly spelled out in 5.29 that at the beginning and end of the strategy round is when the accounting happens. I will wait to hear from the GM. Thanks for pointing this out and if my move is illegal, then I will redo the second activation.
94 2/19/2020 6:37:00 AM Fall 1861 Union Message There is a huge debat on consimworld forum concerning rules 5.29, 5.34, 5.36.

It seams that you have to respect the max. number of generals in an army.
This max number is number of SP + 3.
So if your AoNV has 1SP, you can have only 4 generals. In your case, you have 6 and if you attack at manassas, you can't come back to Richmond to redress the situation before the end of your round.
93 2/18/2020 5:32:00 PM Fall 1861 Confederate Message Ok, I would be interested to hear what he says. Why do you think it is illegal? I would like to learn so I can play correctly (and better).
92 2/18/2020 4:39:00 PM Fall 1861 Union Message Hi Chris,
I ask the GM to check your second move. I think it's illegal.

Either player must play this card as an EC on the Strategy Round immediately following a Union large or medium battle victory. Confederate loses 10 SW and 3 SPs (his choice). Union loses 5 SW. Flip GT marker to its Emancipation Proclamation side. Card must be the last one played by a player at which time it can be played as an OC card. If the play of this card as an OC results in a battle victory, there is no Emancipation Proclamation Remove from deck if event is played. 86 2/15/2020 6:07:00 PM Fall 1861 Confederate Message Yes, I completely messed up the chart and retreat for Van Dorn. Thanks for clarifying that twice.
85 2/15/2020 6:05:00 PM Fall 1861 Confederate Message I need to ask - according to 11.3.A. A player may place PC markers in any space that contains any number of friendly in supply infantry SPs or in a Border State space that is still neutral (no PC marker, enemy SP or forts present, Border State can be controlled by either side or neutral).

my reading of the rule is that you cannot swap PC since the space already has a PC and is no longer neutral. "in a Border State space that is still neutral (no PC marker, enemy SP or forts present," seems to say that the space is what is important, not the status of the state.
84 2/15/2020 12:21:00 PM Fall 1861 Union Play Strategy card as Event #29: 2 / Crittenden Compromise

Concerning Rosecrans, He is into AoP, I forgot to move it to Strasburg.

For your move to Ft Monroe, it's not an automatic win because For Monroe is a fort. you need to have an "*" to win. In case of tie, you don't take the fort and you must retreat even if I lose my last SP.
Please redo or adapt your move. You can roll.

40 2/5/2020 1:10:00 PM Summer 1861 Union Message Chris, I review the log and redo the map.
I note one mistake.
Baltimore is not flag because you didn't have a LOC to Baltimore.
39 2/5/2020 4:04:00 AM Summer 1861 Union Message Chris,
I think it's not easy to follow our game with the way we did by vassal and Vsav file.

In my others games, I have the habbit to put all csa and union change in my own map. By this way, I can check everythink and know by heart the map and position.
So, I will review the log and redo my map to be sure that we didn't forget something.
If you want, I will send you my map at the end of each turn to check with your map.
