138 2/29/2020 3:56:00 PM 216 BC Rome Message OK, thanks Dan.

I think you are right on the strategy, but when Hannibal has early losses or early bad attrition rolls, it makes it tough on him.

I'm sure we'll meet again in these tournaments. I'm retiring in a few weeks, so I'll have more time for gaming (and pickle ball).
137 2/29/2020 3:42:00 PM 216 BC Carthage Message That's six losses for me, so Hannibal and Mago are eliminated and displaced respectively.
I could continue the fight, but I think it's hopeless at this point.
I concede - sorry to not give you a better fight! Perhaps I was too aggressive, but I feel the Carthaginians have to be early in the game to get some serious gains before Scipio Africanus shows up. I think I had the advantage in every battle we fought, but losing 2 out of 3 is too many!
This makes up a bit for the terrible luck imbalance in our GCACW game perhaps.
Good luck in the rest of the tournament!
