428 7/25/2020 7:15:00 PM May-Aug 1945 Japanese Message Sounds reasonable Larry. I think you have all the tools to develop into a strong EOTS player!
427 7/25/2020 6:45:00 PM May-Aug 1945 Allies Message Then I suggest we call our game...I can probably get Miri (not a sure thing)...will go over the mountains and attack in the following pulse...

...that will leave me one card and no one can invaded Manila except a 8-8 in Ulithi...which will not do very good against your full strength army...not to mention if you intercept with the entire Japanese home island...

...so this is a good place to end our game I do believe...very instructive....
426 7/25/2020 6:27:00 PM May-Aug 1945 Japanese Message Larry,
You can use your ASPís, but if the army uses them no ships can sail. I think there is one card that lets one ship escort-MacArthurís Navy?, but thatís it. ISR can kill JP Expansion in the first 2 turns, and similarly handicap AP in the end game...
425 7/25/2020 2:52:00 PM May-Aug 1945 Allies Message Hi Robert...I have a question...the rules on ISR confuse me on this issue...

...it says that army units can still AA across during ISR...does that mean that they can move without ships to AA only or can a ship accompany them to invade in a AZOI to protect them too?

thanks...Larry

348 6/29/2020 4:16:00 PM Jan-Apr 1945 Allies Message Reinforcements:

2 Naval--flip Franklin in Hollandia and Shangri La in Biak

2 ground--4th Ind in Dacca and 2nd Marine in Biak

5 Air--14th LRB in China Box, that's all I can see...
347 6/29/2020 3:49:00 PM Jan-Apr 1945 Japanese Message Agree that it has to be an A-Bomb victory at this point. You don't need Korea and Manila though. Just one and you need to play Soviets invade Manchuria AFTER Tojo resigns. If you have Manchuria, don't play it till your last card. Meanwhile, focus on getting everything else. I think Tojo will be resigning this turn :-)
346 6/29/2020 3:26:00 PM Jan-Apr 1945 Allies Message Well, let's see:

#1--Take Honshu--"ain't happening"

#2--Blockade of Home Islands--impossible, as I need three consecutive National Status segments and I only have two left...

#3-- 4 turns of strategically bombed on 4 turns and only 1 or less resources hexes---maybe I can get all the resources on the outer perimeter, but Philippines and Korea are a no go as far as I'm concerned...you can massively reinforce attacks, not to mention I won't have any land based air against Korea...so I will come up a "day late and a dollar short"...

Do you agree?

I would like to see how you attack the Japanese...can I be the Japanese next time and I can see how it's done...

Also, I'm very conservative with my armies, not wanting to lose the PW for losing an army, but the way I'm invading, etc is too slow...what am I missing or we can discuss after out next game...
345 6/28/2020 2:05:00 PM Jan-Apr 1945 Japanese Message Larry, take a look at the various paths you have to victory, and tell me what you think your best option(s) are at this point. There are essentially 3 paths to victory for AP, but one of them looks closed.

Move the China marker one box to the right toward the Stable Front box, unless this would put the China marker in the Stable Front box, in which case no effect.
