316 4/16/2020 1:51:00 PM 213-212 BC Rome Message Thanks for the game Mike, will send in the report to Tim. It was a hard game on Carthage with an unusual card distribution in the key second battle between Hannibal and Marcellus which could easily gone either way. You were unlucky on that final counter die roll (had a probe and DEs left only) and Italy would have been wide open after that. I also drew campaigns at all the right moments when I needed to cut-off Hannibal's retreat and then to land in Africa.
315 4/16/2020 1:33:00 PM 213-212 BC Carthage Message End of Turn:

No Winter Attrition.
No Political Isolation Removals.

With a Victory Check=R12>C6, I think that's enough for me. I resign.

Carthage didn't seem to have too much luck, except with Mago at the gates of Carthage. Marcellus got off easy (1-1) in his first battle against Hannibal, but Hannibal was pummeled in the 2nd (5-5). Losing Hannibal is always a killer, but my hand that turn was all 1 Ops, except for Truce and Philip of Macedon. That hand forced Hannibal to act or sit idle for a whole turn.
