I missed the perfect opportunity to take Ohio Forks! If I'd just seen the opportunity sooner, it would have fallen.

Stockade building.
466 7/17/2020 1:50:00 PM 1760 Late Season France Message I understand. I viewed the difference (some vs. all avoid) as trivial, but should not have assumed you did as well. A log file would have avoided all this. Apologies.
465 7/17/2020 1:47:00 PM 1760 Late Season Britain Message Thank you for your kind words.

I guess I'm just used to a more relaxed approach when there is a misunderstanding. Misunderstandings are common in PBEM, especially as we all are generally playing at times around work and family commitments, and we can't really talk across the table.

I agree that this issue hasn't had a big impact on the game state. I just want to make it clear that I don't play that way: correcting others mistakes and then just carry on without checking with them they are happy with their play given the changing circumstances. Over time these little things can add up. And in some cases one of these events can make a major difference to the game.

Happy to continue if you understand my point of view here.
464 7/17/2020 1:31:00 PM 1760 Late Season France Message We can end the game if you'd like - up to you. You're playing very well, like a veteran, and are on the road to victory.
463 7/17/2020 1:29:00 PM 1760 Late Season France Message I am sorry and surprised at your anger. As I said, the entry in ACTS was pretty clear. I don't see that it made any difference in the game state - some units avoided instead of all. I guess I still don't understand why you're mad.
462 7/17/2020 1:24:00 PM 1760 Late Season Britain Message I'm still a bit miffed about the way you handled my mistake on your avoid battle to Gist Station. If the roles had been reversed, I would have sent you a message correcting the mistake and asking if you wanted to change your move. As you played it, you have taken advantage of my misunderstanding of your log entry. This all could have been avoided if you had simply submitted a log file.

It is a shame to let a game go at this point, but, if you don't agree with the above comments, I think it is game over.
461 7/13/2020 11:51:00 AM 1760 Late Season France Message You are up.
