22 5/18/2020 6:59:00 AM Jan-Apr 1942 Japanese Message Yes, I do normally roll both dice at a time if the combat is simultaneous, and of course separately if there is surprise for example.

And just to verify then, is your convention for rolling dice the same as mine in that you roll the attacker's die first in battles?

Next card play coming up in a moment...
21 5/16/2020 8:42:00 AM Jan-Apr 1942 Japanese Message My PBM is done.

That resolution method confused me at first. Single rolls at a time for each side of battles, although apparently you're following the common convention of rolling attacker die first. I will always roll for the attacker first as well too, by the way. The intel roll being in the file instead of ACTS with all the other rolls threw me at first as well. Might suggest doing all our rolls in ACTS, if that's agreeable...? There's never any issue in redoing/restarting a file that way if you mess up moves, or try some moves to see what they look like, but then want to change, or what have you. If dierolls are in the module file, then you can't redo a file without very likely changing the rolls.

Oh, and sorry on the order of moves. Had meant to move the CV to Palembang first to clear the way for the ground and then move the ground unit, but forgot to do that in the file. Will pay better attention to that going forward.

Over to you. New file is uploaded to our folder.

10 5/16/2020 3:32:00 AM Jan-Apr 1942 Japanese Message And speaking of playing VADM Kondo virtually as you will have to with Arcadia, I am playing the Kondo card as my first card of the turn.

I will upload a new file in a moment illustrating the moves and designated battles for this card. Over to you for possible card play and resolution of the battles.
9 5/16/2020 3:30:00 AM Jan-Apr 1942 Japanese Message Thank you. Good luck to you as well.

On the Arcadia card, I don't know of any way to pull a specific card out of the draw deck. I'm thinking we'll just have to play it as I'm playing my "VADM Kondo" card at the moment. That being, the Arcadia is virtually in your hand and you just declare via a message like this that you are playing the card and then carry it out. Then later, if/when you ever actually draw the Arcadia card, immediately get rid of it at that time and draw a replacement.

4 5/14/2020 9:50:00 AM Jan-Apr 1942 Japanese Message I uploaded an initial file with the 1942 game start. You can make the emergency naval moves if you like, decide on Arcadia and then draw your hand.

2 5/14/2020 9:47:00 AM Jan-Apr 1942 Japanese Message Wow, I managed to get the situation covered in the 1942 scenario special rules (17.25.E) in which I drew no Military Event cards. So I will discard a 3 OPs and virtually say that card #47 - "VADM Kondo" - is in my hand, per that rule.
