Retreat roll
76 5/28/2020 7:20:00 PM Summer 1861 Union Message The AotP continues with their rampage, heading north and attacking Beauregard in Hanover. You have the option to automatically retreat before battle if you would like. And if so, please designate to where you retreat.

Otherwise, it would be a Medium Battle (6 SPs Union vs 2 SPs Confederates) with a +4drm Union (+2 leaders, +2 force ratio) versus +1drm Confederates (+1 leader). In which case feel free to roll.
75 5/28/2020 7:11:00 PM Summer 1861 Union Message Richmond's fort falls, so the Confederates lose 1 SW (down to 94-) and the Union gains 1 SW and another 2 SW for changing fortunes (up to 98+).

The Union flags Richmond. This causes the Confederates to lose 12 SW (down to 82-) and the Union gains 12 SW (up to 110+).

The Confederates' capital also is removed. This causes the Confederates to lose 15 SW (down to 67-).

Battle of Richmond
68 5/28/2020 5:52:00 PM Summer 1861 Union Play Strategy card as Event #3: 1 / Forward to Richmond
Union may activate any Union army within 4 spaces of Richmond, VA. The army must enter Richmond or move as close to Richmond as possible, but may convert spaces to maintain an LOC. All SPs associated with the army must be moved (no dropping off SPs), except 1 SP may be left if the Army began its movement from a fort (if last SP, move completed). If played by the Confederate, he draws a card from the Union hand which is discarded, and the Union player follows the instructions of this card as his next card play.

Message from Union:
The AotP attacks Richmond. Do you do anything? Feel free to roll for it if you'd like.

If you don't do anything, it would be a Medium Battle (7 SPs Union vs 3 SPs Confederates) with a +2drm Union (+2 leaders) versus +3drm Confederates (+1 leader, +2 fort).
67 5/28/2020 5:50:00 PM Summer 1861 Union Message On a totally unrelated note, I forgot to penalize myself for the very first card I played in the game (Entry #4) in which Union SP needed to be adjacent to Grand Ecore LA else they should lose 5 SW. So the Union drops from 100- down to 95- SW.

64 5/28/2020 5:24:00 PM Summer 1861 Union Message 3* (10=6+4) Confederates
3 (9=6+3) Union

We both lose 3 units. The Confederates win the battle. The Union retreats to Frederick.

Because of the Confederates' modified 10 roll, there is a chance of a general casualty to both sides, 1-3 Confederates, 1 Union.

Remove up to three enemy PC markers in Kentucky. You must also remove one of your own PC markers from the state if you have any there. Removal of a PC marker makes a space neutral. Remove from deck if event is played.

Message from Confederate:

59 5/28/2020 11:38:00 AM Summer 1861 Union Play Strategy card as Operations #58: 2 / Admiral Porter
Union may make a naval move with up to three SPs plus one general. If an amphibious assault occurs, you receive an additional +2 DRM. Add +2DRM to any Running the Guns die roll.

Message from Union:
Burnside +1 to Charlotteville and pick up 1 SP, move to Strasburg and pick up 1 SP, move to Manassas, move to Fredericksburg and pick up 1 SP, move to DC and drop off 2 SP and then Burnside +2 move back to Manassas.
58 5/28/2020 11:10:00 AM Summer 1861 Union Message Nice move. Yes, I would have attempted to intercept in Hanover which then would have prohibited any further interception attempts. I would have attempted to retreat from battle from Manassas, but that failed as per your roll. And then yes, it was an overrun in Manassas.
57 5/28/2020 10:13:00 AM Summer 1861 Confederate Message So we attack Manassas next
Not sure if you have any battle cards you want to play.
So if Confederates win the battle of Manassas
We then go back to Williamsburg and then Hanover
I am not sure if the battle of Manassas is an auto victory because it is a 10-1 ratio.
Not sure if the General effects that
So I leave the rest to

51 5/28/2020 10:06:00 AM Summer 1861 Confederate Play Strategy card as Event #75: 2 / Western Concentration Block
Confederate player can either remove or demote an army commander in any state except Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, or Florida for no political cost. OR Confederate Player may move 5 SPs using Strategic Movement (rail connections only) to the same space with a Confederate General who is then activated and must attempt to enter a space with at least one or more Union SPs or fort. If a general casualty occurs in a battle caused by this card, the Commanding General is eligible, this is an exception to the rules. See 4.5 Remove from deck if event is played.

Message from Confederate:
By rail we move the following units to Richmond
More head City
Pensacola
Mobile
Columbus
Atlanta
And then we leave Beauragard and 2 units in Richmond
AONV is 10 units strong
We first go to Hanover
I will roll for your interception attempt
50 5/26/2020 12:51:00 PM Summer 1861 Union Message We both lose 1 SP. Union can continue moving.

We leave Buell +1 in Manassas, move to Fredericksburg and leave 1 SP, move to Wilderness and leave 1 SP, move to Culpeper and pick 1 SP, move to Gordonsville and leave 1 SP, move to Charlottesville and leave 1 SP, and finally Burnside +1 move to Lynchburg.

Confederate immediately receives three SPs in any open Blockade Runner Port, no more than one SP per port, but more than one SP per Blockade Zone is permitted. If insufficient ports are available, the excess SPs are lost.

Message from Union:
The AotP moves to Fort Monroe, they pick up everyone except for 1 SP, they move back to Williamsburg.
