I like the game. I'm definitely learning as I go, and can see the German play is more enjoyable then N44 by far. More knowledgeable play should open more counterattack opportunities in future games.

Except on EX DXG the owner determines casualties. And either way they have to come from the lead formation so I fixed that prior to advancing.

The unit you retreated from A I moved to the only space it could retreat to since it can't end next to an enemy unit.

Remember you have 3 new traffic counters to place on your turn.

I think it starts like N44 as far as a near solo experience, but it is still more enjoyable at the beginning as the German player then N44 has likely ever been.

At least here I feel like I'm able to have at least some significant impact on the ebb and flow of the battle. It is not one of the games I do well learning from the rulebook. Things I definitely wish I'd done different (as I'm sure you are the same).

But don't know what I'll do when I get to Nijmegen as attacking across major rivers looks like suicide. Even if you manage to get one space across the inevitable counter will push you back across I think.

Brit paras seem completely screwed.

Interesting so far, though like Normandy '44 it seems like a solitaire game, at least for the first few turns.

I removed my scattered markers. Supply is OK. I moved the 101 supply head one space as it should be on a road. It's hard to tell on this module when units are stacked. But otherwise it's gorgeous.

Landings seem to have went well. But getting units up to the Poles with all the kraut reinforcements seems a hard row. Maybe that's the lesson here.

Germans up. Remember to roll for the 406th units.

B: 1 at 5-1 is DR. You have option to advance or DD.

C: No bonus for woods it's 6-1 and result is DS

D: Automatic DS

I did my advances up to here except B where you have options.
