Okay, Greg, thanks for your always welcome advice. I'll think about it over the weekend and then resume. The only good thing is that you have 6 cards and no FO. For the rest, I have a decidedly bad hand of cards, I am in ISR and I have no chance to overcome it, because I have no possible extra draws. I will probably lose PoW for lack of conquest of the 4 VPs, Burma and India, when I also lose a card. If you have events to speed up India's fall or decrease PoW further, it will take a lot less than 4 turns to finish the war. |

Nando, A couple of things before you confirm you want to do this: 1) So you might be feeling desperate here, but you not in a bad position. This is a pretty big reach for the USA at this point in the game. 2) An attack this close to Japan this early in the turn is a big risk. I may have Kamikaze's or reaction cards that can still do some serious damage, plus I have enough full strength Air to force you to get a crit to really hurt me. That said, sometimes these crazy moves pay off and become the cornerstone to victory. But you want to weigh the risks, as this is most of your fleet out here. On the plus side I didn't only draw 6 cards and didn't save and FOQ card last turn so the risks are lower. But not zero. If you want to change feel free, if not let me know. I still have to take and hold India for 3-4 turns so that won't be easy to do and even that may not be enough if you take something back or play some PoW cards. There's still 7 turns to go! |
