If u like the game I suggest strongly and it is a low commitment because u have 20 games in the year plus eventual playoff
205 9/16/2020 1:45:00 PM Summer 1862 Confederate Message it's the BPA PoG tourney, a new one usually starts when one is almost over (roughly every threeish years?) double elimination, currently in round 5. There's a PoG ladder that just started up as well with regular matches being organized, I'll forward you the email with the details for that if you're interested in getting in on it!
204 9/16/2020 1:40:00 PM Summer 1862 Union Message Ahah so u are acts addicted like me:)

Definitely up for a rematch and to any PoG game whenever u want. I am playing 3 PoG now, but one is hopefully going to end in the next weeks.
EoTS I didn't managed yet to learn the rules sufficiently to play a Real game but as soon as work and family commitments allow me some time I will dig myself deeply in the game?

Which tournament of PoG are u playing? I'd love to join because it's my favourite game(TS excluded, btw do u play TS too?)
203 9/16/2020 1:31:00 PM Summer 1862 Confederate Message I could be up for it, but I will say at the moment I have three active PoG games (tournament, ladder, and one for fun). I'd also rematch you in this if you'd like. Do you play Empire of the Sun also?

190 9/15/2020 2:43:00 PM Spring 1862 Confederate Message Concentration card and campaign certainly helped there for me. The challenge for the US player is balancing early pressure with the defense of DC, and this game is certainly always swingy. A few additional forts and a little more distribution of forces around them going into 1862 certainly wouldn't have hurt. A fort in Pittsburgh would've at least given a chance to stop that whole mess (along with a 1 defense rated general for point defense). Pulling the guy from Chambersburg also made that 3x raid possible.

m 6-7 back to Friedrik (8)

180 9/14/2020 3:20:00 PM Spring 1862 Confederate Message Burnside can only bring one additional general with him, so cannot move both Rosey and Stoneman at the same time.
179 9/14/2020 1:54:00 PM Spring 1862 Union Message Actually I think I can the move twice Picking up another general to Friedrik and up to other 2/3 SP,the maximum I can.. in order to leave AoP with just one SP plus two Generals..sorry for not being so precise but away from map
178 9/14/2020 1:23:00 PM Spring 1862 Union Play Strategy card as Operations #119: 2 / War in the West: Valverde/Glorietta Pass
Randomly remove one strategy card from your opponent’s hand, which is discarded. Remove from deck if event is played.

Message from Union:
Interrupt in Winchester sorry.
Then Burniside with one SP tries to craft a miracle...
Away from map so just memory.. going to Friedsbrug pick 5 and Stoneman and Rosencrans, then goes to DC dropping Rosencransthere and then back to Friedrik with now 6 Sp + Cav general..correct If something wrong with maximum unit, bit u got the desperate move..stuck Friedrick with someone that could intercept to block the move to DC or gain the +2 roll...things collapsed this turn without any 3ops and then Forward that caught me totally unprepared
177 9/14/2020 1:09:00 PM Spring 1862 Union Play Strategy card as Event #7: 1 / Mud March
Interrupt enemy force currently moving to no more than one space of movement. (Converting a space counts as movement.) Applies to only one move during a Major or Minor campaign card, but not a special army-naval move.

Message from Union:
If only I had a 3...but let's try this gambale.. stop AoW in HP
176 9/14/2020 11:43:00 AM Spring 1862 Confederate Message aww hell, another 6, defender wins ties in capitals, so AoW repulsed, though I only lose 2 in each of those battles, as a defender can only inflict up to twice its strength in losses.

171 9/14/2020 11:39:00 AM Spring 1862 Confederate Play Strategy card as Operations #74: 2 / Political Crisis
The Union player may remove or demote one Union general for no SW cost. The cost for promoting a general with a lower political value still applies. OR remove ANY Union non-commanding general (even second in commands) from the game.

Message from Confederate:
might as well get it while it's hot
