7 10/4/2020 2:01:00 PM Spring 1861 Confederate Message Iíve looked it up several times but the rules say you cannot cross a river where a enemy fort is present (either side ) but it doesnít say it has to be a garrisoned fort
important because It is still a zero point unit if youíre on the same side of the river it could over run it but It says may not cross were a fort is present


youíre usually right so Iíll look it up again

Yes blockhead and amphibious modifier should be played as events in most cases
Getting a fort in Frederick is usually pretty important
The union discard any card for ops and get a fort
the rebel it must be a three card to build a fort

Iíll pay the event discard a random card and then play your next turn card

4 10/4/2020 11:19:00 AM Spring 1861 Confederate Message So the confederate always has the option to play a campaign either major or minor and move first in the turn but Iím gonna play my campaign card later in the turn so you may move first

The game rests on three major tenets
1 protect Washington DC
2 protect Washington DC
3 protect Washington DC .....until around turn five or six when you Can rage against the machine & start pressing back

Take note of which turn Robert E Lee shows up
