136 12/5/2020 3:57:00 AM Turn 1 Native American Message The benefit of the added Patriot Continentals is that they give you an extra die to determine losses as it takes you from 8 cubes to 10 cubes.

In the battle, Indians will activate one WP.

I'll leave Andrew to resolve after deciding whether to participate.
135 12/5/2020 2:41:00 AM Turn 1 France Message The French started a battle in New York.
Invite the Rebels to participate, so they get to decide.
When we actually battle, would someone else do the battle procedure so I can learn first hand?
Also a question, why would not the Rebels have brought in more troops on their turn so we can win a larger battle? thanks.
134 12/5/2020 2:28:00 AM Turn 1 France Message Thanks Chawn, I was pretty sure of the situation but would rather check then mess things up.
I'll remove one British regular from NJ as requested before I do my turn.

133 12/5/2020 2:04:00 AM Turn 1 Native American Message Hi Dave, you are correct. Andrew didn't advance the cards. At the top of the vassal window, you'll see three buttons which you use in succession to end a turn: "End Faction Play", "End Card Play", and "Draw Card". Just press those in that sequence and Bob's your new Uncle!
132 12/5/2020 1:50:00 AM Turn 1 France Message Hi Guys, it says that the French are up but I don't want to mess things up. It looks like the card was done but not removed and the new card drawn. BUT I don't want to change the cards in case I'm wrong. Someone please let me know the correct situation before I do anything. Thanks.
131 12/4/2020 4:18:00 PM Turn 1 Native American Message I agree. The Brits should have lost a Regular.

116 11/30/2020 4:09:00 PM Turn 1 British Message Two tories in New York desert

115 11/30/2020 4:25:00 AM Turn 1 Native American Message Easy mistake to make. I misread things all the time.
114 11/30/2020 4:04:00 AM Turn 1 France Message Thanks. Duh, in reading the rules, I read it as 1 to 5 tories, not 1 IN 5.
113 11/30/2020 3:54:00 AM Turn 1 Native American Message The appropriate rule is 6.6.2: "Remove 1 in 5 Tories from the map (rounding down). French choose the first Tory to desert, then British choose the remainder."

Over to the Brits.
112 11/30/2020 2:11:00 AM Turn 1 France Message The French removed a tory in New York.
The British decide where to remove 2 more tories.
Question: How was it decided that 3 tories had to desert? I didn't see it in the rules. Thanks.
111 11/29/2020 5:43:00 PM Turn 1 Rebels Message french to decide a torry removal out of 3 i believe...proabbly NY would be recommendation in upcoming battle
110 11/29/2020 2:11:00 AM Turn 1 Native American Message Patriots to remove 2 Continentials and 1 militia.
109 11/28/2020 8:16:00 PM Turn 1 Rebels Message back! believe someone has to pick for my desertion correct?

105 11/25/2020 3:16:00 AM Turn 1 British Message No

104 11/25/2020 2:25:00 AM Turn 1 Native American Message Do the Brits want to redeploy their leader?
103 11/24/2020 10:09:00 PM Turn 1 France Message No Leader change for the French.
102 11/24/2020 1:09:00 PM Turn 1 Native American Message Clinton is the last leader of the conflict and he is already in play.
101 11/24/2020 1:08:00 PM Turn 1 Native American Message Leader change is not possible for Brits. Indians have redeployed their leader.

Over to the French for leader redeployment.
100 11/24/2020 9:02:00 AM Turn 1 Rebels Message britain to make leader change
99 11/23/2020 3:40:00 PM Turn 1 British Message Support rewarded in NC and New Jersey. Back to Patriots

Onto Indians.
93 11/21/2020 2:40:00 AM Turn 1 British Message Marcing, watching a troubled situation arise

92 11/20/2020 8:58:00 AM Turn 1 Rebels Message british up
91 11/20/2020 8:57:00 AM Turn 1 Rebels Message lol decided to bring some french guys iwth me to new york for fun..skirmised also in NJ
90 11/20/2020 3:51:00 AM Turn 1 France Message The French once again pass, waiting for a situation to battle. I don't really know what the French can do until they can team up with the Patriots. I'm open to suggestions, I don't want to totally mess up the Patriots.
Onto the Patriots.

89 11/20/2020 3:16:00 AM Turn 1 Native American Message Back to the French. I notice that I moved the wrong cylinder. Please correct this, Dave.
88 11/20/2020 2:20:00 AM Turn 1 British Message A tory stays back
87 11/20/2020 2:12:00 AM Turn 1 Native American Message I agree with Andrew that Tories can only march with Regulars 1 for 1. Kasper are you happy for me to just move one of the Tories back to NYC or would you like to redo?
86 11/20/2020 12:34:00 AM Turn 1 France Message The French decide to pass as they don't see a good location to march to. Patriots, do we want to put pressure on New Jersey? If so, get in a position so the French can join you there.
Onto Indians.

85 11/19/2020 6:51:00 PM Turn 1 Rebels Message just oen thing it seems that torries can only move 1:1 with british..does that mean from space which they came from or total? because ritihs moved out of NYC with 2 regular nad 3 torries...shoudl it have only been 2 torries?
84 11/19/2020 2:12:00 PM Turn 1 Native American Message Don't forget that you can take the Pats Continentals with you to go to any space that you could reach. So you could go from Charlestown to NC that way.
83 11/19/2020 9:44:00 AM Turn 1 Native American Message You should look at the example on page 11 for the British who have similar capabilities to the French.
82 11/19/2020 9:41:00 AM Turn 1 Native American Message Dave, the French have naval movement that allows free movement between Rebellion-controlled cities. So, for example, you can go to Boston and then Charlestown in one move. If there were rebel pieces in NC, you could continue to NC as part of the same move.
81 11/19/2020 9:19:00 AM Turn 1 France Message A question before I do my turn. I would like to march the French but if I read the rules correctly, I can only move into adjacent spaces that contain Rebels. So I could only march to Boston??? thanks.
80 11/19/2020 5:54:00 AM Turn 1 British Message UK chose March and skirmish, Clinton and his army with backup entered Jersey and removed two continentals and a militia at the cost of one Brit

Down south the British forces are also joining forces

France is up

79 11/19/2020 1:23:00 AM Turn 1 Native American Message Indians Raided and Traded.

Over to Brits.
78 11/18/2020 3:51:00 PM Turn 1 Rebels Message readjsuted to 12

i have no idea if it's right, but it seems like patriots have utilized their last men..over to indians
77 11/16/2020 8:31:00 PM Turn 1 Rebels Message apologies iwll get to move soon
76 11/16/2020 2:42:00 AM Turn 1 Native American Message Kasper, militia don't count towards Casualties. Only cube and forts count for casualties. If you want, to redo, let us know. Otherwise, Andrew can readjust CRC to 12.
75 11/15/2020 3:50:00 PM Turn 1 British Message Choose to go via Norfolk and skirmish in NC

Patriots are up
74 11/15/2020 9:23:00 AM Turn 1 Native American Message The idea was to protect the units in NC. You could do this by going into Norfolk as well. You'd have to make sure that you brought in enough to win the potential battle in NC. However, if they manage to pull off two commands in a row, they can move in there with one command and battle with the second command, before you get the chance to move to NC. I'm beginning to think that Marching to or from NC is the best way to go if you want to protect those units.
73 11/15/2020 9:14:00 AM Turn 1 British Message Why go for Charles town?
Norfolk is only defended by one militia, while 4 French, 1 militia and 4 continentals plus a fort guards Charles town. I will need 8-9 regulars to garrison Charles Town, and I see no special reward for British for French casualties.
72 11/15/2020 6:00:00 AM Turn 1 Native American Message At risk of stating the obvious: If you Garrison into Charlestown, you should not push the Rebel units out as that will set them up for wipe-out in adjacent provinces.
71 11/15/2020 5:58:00 AM Turn 1 Native American Message Sorry, Kasper, my wisdom failed me for a bit. I momentarily forgot that mustering Regulars in this game is an exception to the normal rule of being able to take pieces off the board when there are none in Available. See p. 5 box in ULH corner. You unfortunately can't take regulars from other spaces in the normal way.

You could muster with Tories instead, but that would set up the French for taking a lot of casualties. Another option would be to Garrison into Charlestown which allows you to move Regulars. Or March into NC and SC with regulars only to NC and regulars + tories in SC (to set up further reward loyalty on another turn). Only problem with these later two choices is that you can't reward loyalty if you don't muster.
70 11/15/2020 5:32:00 AM Turn 1 British Message Patriots are up
69 11/15/2020 5:28:00 AM Turn 1 British Die roll request Request: 3-sided die x 1

Message from British:
The British HQ take the advice from the indian Elder and musters 5 units in NC, rewarding 4xloyalty afterwards

Then the British navy sets out to do some racketering...
68 11/15/2020 4:37:00 AM Turn 1 Native American Message I'd Muster 5 Regulars (no Tories) into NC and reward loyalty for four shifts to Active Support. Then, I'd then use Naval Pressure to defray some of the costs.

The regulars can come out of the Pop 1 cities first, then other spaces keeping groups of 3 cubes for dice in battle plus 1-2 for defraying a potential Skirmish SA.

67 11/15/2020 3:52:00 AM Turn 1 British Message The Briths ask their indian allies for advice. A combined French-Patriot army from Charles Town looks dire...

Dear Elder of the tribes, do you have any suggestions?
66 11/15/2020 3:22:00 AM Turn 1 France Message Not a problem, I should have said Event in my message to avoid confusion
65 11/15/2020 3:18:00 AM Turn 1 Native American Message Of course. Sorry for my confusion. Over to the Brits.
64 11/15/2020 2:54:00 AM Turn 1 France Message Actually I did the Event to get a Free Muster, not costing any resources. Hope I did it right.
63 11/15/2020 2:47:00 AM Turn 1 Native American Message I think the delay was really due to the uncertainty about what to do about the two cards in the upcoming pile. I think we just have to ignore it.

Dave, you only used the command. Do you want to use an SA? Otherwise, that becomes Command Only.
62 11/15/2020 2:36:00 AM Turn 1 France Message The French will do a Free Muster in Charles Town and make their troops available to the Rebels.
Onto British.
May I suggest that you always indicate who is up next to reduce delays. Thanks.
61 11/14/2020 4:54:00 PM Turn 1 France Message Didnít know i was up. Will do move tonight
60 11/14/2020 4:40:00 PM Turn 1 Native American Message I believe it is France next.
59 11/14/2020 4:30:00 PM Turn 1 Rebels Message sorry who is up now?
58 11/13/2020 2:58:00 AM Turn 1 France Message It probably doesn't help the Rebel cause with the French not having a clue as to what to do. I'll limp along but am not opposed to suggestions as I learn the game.

57 11/13/2020 2:25:00 AM Turn 1 Native American Message Looking back through the files, this card appeared during the Winter Phase in the UK-leader redeployment. There are two cards in the upcoming cards pile at the beginning of the log.
56 11/13/2020 2:18:00 AM Turn 1 Native American Message For some reason there are two cards on the upcoming cards pile. The one at the bottom would have really benefited the Indians. This should not have happened as we now don't know how to play that card.

Please don't click and drag cards between the piles. Using the buttons (End faction play, end card play, draw card) assures that the cards are sequenced in the proper order.
55 11/13/2020 2:14:00 AM Turn 1 Native American Message In response to your statement, Andrew, I agree that the Brits have a large number of units on the board. If there were blockades in place, the mobility of those units would be limited and the Brits could be easily caught out. The Brits aren't as strong as they look, though, particularly in NYC and Philly, due to the large number of Tories. Tories only take one loss on removal while other cubes take two. It would be easy to rack up a large number of casualties there in the current board state. Remember as well that there are other ways to cause casualties other than a Battle command.
54 11/12/2020 6:32:00 PM Turn 1 Rebels Message rally in charleston to get more troops

this seems a weird scenario in that british seem incredibly over powered at this point...not sure if french/americans need to just bunker down or what to win? i dont see me winning a land battle against british anytime soon haha
53 11/11/2020 3:39:00 PM Turn 1 Native American Message Indians lead a scouting party into North Carolina bringing the Brits with them. A rebel outpost is disrupted there.

Over to the Rebel Scum!
52 11/11/2020 2:11:00 PM Turn 1 British Message British forces has entered Georgia

Forgot to move card, but Indians are up
51 11/11/2020 3:42:00 AM Turn 1 France Message The French beef up the troops in CO/RI.
Onto British.
50 11/11/2020 2:32:00 AM Turn 1 Native American Message Indians place another Village.

Over to the French. Dave, remember that you need to cause British casaulties to win the game. You've spent the whole game so far increasing Rebel resources, which is setting Andrew up for the win.
49 11/10/2020 8:46:00 PM Turn 1 Rebels Message doing some rallying..over to indina
48 11/10/2020 4:31:00 PM Turn 1 Native American Message Over to Patriots to remove one fort as indicated by the Winter Event. They may then proceed with action on next card.
47 11/10/2020 4:14:00 PM Turn 1 British Message Brits remove tories, one in each of New York (city) and Savannah
46 11/10/2020 2:31:00 AM Turn 1 France Message French remove a tory in New York.
I wish the log would should the action of removing a tory, etc, would make it much easier to follow.
Onto British to remove 2 more tories.
45 11/10/2020 1:44:00 AM Turn 1 Native American Message Only three total tories need to be removed. 19/5 rounded down is 3. So French choose one to remove and then Brits remove 2.
44 11/9/2020 6:40:00 PM Turn 1 Rebels Message french to remove a tory (then british remove 3 as they have total 19 i believe)
43 11/9/2020 1:56:00 AM Turn 1 Native American Message Patriots are up for Desertion. See file.
42 11/8/2020 6:31:00 PM Turn 1 Rebels Message no redploy for patriots
41 11/8/2020 3:38:00 PM Turn 1 Native American Message the Patriots get to decide whether to redeploy Washington next.
40 11/8/2020 3:30:00 PM Turn 1 British Message Clinton moves to the countryside

* Clinton moves New York City -> New York *

Leaders done.
39 11/8/2020 4:54:00 AM Turn 1 Native American Message Over to the Brits for potential leader redeployment.
38 11/8/2020 4:42:00 AM Turn 1 France Message Rochambeau will remain where he is, at Connecticut-RI.
37 11/8/2020 3:27:00 AM Turn 1 Native American Message Cornplanter will stay put.

Over to French to consider redployment of their leader.
