Kittanning
Ohio Forks

The one in question starting at Niagara is Joncarie. I have him at Adirondack North Damaged.

202 11/27/2020 6:53:00 AM 1758 Late Season France Message Niagara, see post 32 the CDB from there raided Canajorie and then went home to Ticonderoga as it was closer Post 37. I looked at the rest of the log and don't see where I put a CDB back into there.

195 11/24/2020 5:42:00 PM 1758 Late Season France Message You probably won't need it, you took Louisbourg too fast. I was expecting you to have problems, with at 0 leader to take the place, but you hit the exact roll you needed in 1 shot with the Coehorns. Plus that let you win the assault in one pass. That meant I had to demolish the defenses too early in the Champlain valley, and your have plenty of reinforcements.

First game in this tournament O played, The british had to assault Louisbourg 4 times even after the breached the walls. Durcour and his force died to the last step.
194 11/24/2020 5:38:00 PM 1758 Late Season France Message Yes I was wondering why you did not play it for the event. Basically there are 3 cases each of which is independent of the the other.

1 Louisbourg Squadrons removed
2 OR Louisbourg falls to the British
3. OR after 1759 (which of course can't happen in this game).

193 11/24/2020 5:25:00 PM 1758 Late Season Britain Message Question:
3 / Quiberon Bay (Britain)
Play if Louisbourg Squadrons REMOVED, if you control Louisbourg, or after 1759.

I have always thought it meant that the removal of Louisbourg Squadron was a prereq for this, but now that I read it again it says "or". So I could actually have played it this turn, right?
192 11/24/2020 5:22:00 PM 1758 Late Season Britain Play Strategy card as Operations #27: 2 / Western Indian
Play if you have fort at Ohio Forks. Place ORANGE or--if you have a fort at Niagara-- BLUE/ORANGE Indian units totalling half a die roll (rounded up), or a full roll if French VP >4. Place units at their settlements. For every 1 you could place, you may instead restore 2 to full.

Bouganviolle and the CDB raided Think Reading, Rolled a 3, lowered to a 2. that was no hits on the CDB and both Bouganville and the whole CDB went to Ohio forks. You noted in your post that the roll was plus 1 because of Militia, its actually minus 1 because of militia. I don't see any other movement by either CDB after post 59.

180 11/22/2020 8:26:00 AM 1758 Late Season France Message Yes CDB under villers auto evades, and villers, just gets pushed out of the space if you occupy it. So basically both of them can evade without a roll.

Message from Britain:
Bradstreet enlists some rangers in Alexandria
172 11/21/2020 7:54:00 AM 1758 Late Season France Message Any land connection between two rivers that has fortifications, or friendly cultivated on both sides counts as a carry and is water. Montreal to St Jean is a carry. Its just like Hudson carry north and south, etc. There is no river there yet its a river move. if you check the map there are a lot of carries from the Hudson to the Connecticut river or from NY City to the Delaware. you can make the move as long as you don't use 2 Carries. Johnson can move from Oneida Carry south to Philadelphia in one move. Its kind of a stretch, but the area between Hudson Carry South and North has several lakes, streams that are not on the map. But you still have to carry the boats from one body of water to another. I am from Trenton NJ and there are rivers in NJ that would get you par to the way from NYC to Trenton, but still have to Carry the boats, hence calling them a carry.
171 11/21/2020 2:25:00 AM 1758 Late Season Britain Message No river connection between Montreal and Ile-aux-Noix, so your mariner can only boat to St Jean

Play if you control Montreal. Place BLUE or--if you have a fort at Niagara-- BLUE/ORANGE Indian units totalling half a die roll (rounded up), or a full roll if French VP >4. Place units at their settlements. For every 1 you could place, you may instead restore 2 to full.
