#2: 76
#3: 1
#4: 38
40 12/2/2020 11:55:00 AM Turn 1 Dave-red Message And for transparency's sake - 25 cards have been uncovered, which means we have completed the 3rd pile, and the next card drawn will be from the 4th pile (11% chance it is a Dominance Check).
39 12/2/2020 11:42:00 AM Turn 1 Dave-red Edit Loyalty Simon-blue: from Russian to Russian

30 12/1/2020 10:52:00 PM Turn 1 Dave-red Message 1. I'll buy George Hayward (+1 Rupee)

2. Buy Sikh merchants in Lahore

This is reminding me of Imperial Struggle- as I might be screwing myself by revealing 2 cards, which could allow you to win this round, but I think (think) you can't do it in one turn.

Bonus action:
- Mohan has 3 moves:

RED Mohan Lal > Cossacks > Herati Bandits

That's it.
29 12/1/2020 10:43:00 PM Turn 1 Dave-red Message Two other rules I noted:

- we can't remove armies or each others tribes while we have the same loyalty

- we can remove each others spies while we have the same loyalty

- when event cards are removed, the coins on those cards stay there and get placed on the card that moves into the 0 column
28 12/1/2020 10:01:00 PM Turn 1 Simon-blue Message >>> And, special abilities are never held hostage

* thanks - good catch!

26 12/1/2020 10:00:00 PM Turn 1 Simon-blue Message >>> place 1 blue disc on Exiled Durban Nobility court card, now has 1 red and 1 blue disc

** The special text says "any Herat card without a spy". There is already a spy on the card, no?

###
ah, right you are. Remove the blue disc from Ex Dur Nob
Seeing how I can't play that special ability, can I play the bonus tax ability on Herati Bandits instead?
Tax/take 1 rupee from B0, now B0(0)
I get +1 rupee

25 12/1/2020 8:59:00 PM Turn 1 Dave-red Message And, special abilities are never held hostage (page 12 in the rules, last sentence on the left-hand column). Thus, even if I did have a majority of spies on Herati Bandits you wouldn't have to pay me.
24 12/1/2020 8:50:00 PM Turn 1 Dave-red Message > place 1 blue disc on Exiled Durban Nobility court card, now has 1 red and 1 blue disc

The special text says "any Herat card without a spy". There is already a spy on the card, no?
23 12/1/2020 8:44:00 PM Turn 1 Simon-blue Message play Herati Bandits special/bonus ability first
Heart Bandits has 1 blue and 1 red disc, so card is *not* being held hostage, so it doesn't cost me anything to play
place 1 blue disc on Exiled Durban Nobility court card, now has 1 red and 1 blue disc

1. play Cossacks from hand to court
place on L = position 1
place RU army in Transcapia
place 1 blue spy on Supplies from Orenburg

2. play Supplies from Orenburg from hand to court
place on L = new position 1
build RU road Transcapia > Herat
place 1 blue spy on Cossacks

red discs on board = 5
blue discs on board = 4

FYI, will email vassal file in a minute

* costs 3 coin, right?
now B0(1), B1(1) and B2(1)
18 12/1/2020 8:24:00 PM Turn 1 Simon-blue Message >>> Pax Porf showed up. Wow, glad we got Pax Pamir first. The graphical layout is nicer and the rulebook looks friendlier. Pax Porf looks "busy" all around.

* yeah, Porf just has a LOT more Pax action (Paxion?) going on. Maybe too much for my rapidly withering gray matter?

>>> First thing I did is count the cards and they all seem to be there. Which one were you missing?

* missing #166
Still haven't heard anything back about my email request for a replacement card *grump*
Bought Porf from Amazon, so I obviously won't get any joy by contacting them (to be fair, it should be something the manufacturer takes care of)
Will email them again tonight...

17 12/1/2020 8:11:00 PM Turn 1 Dave-red Message Pax Porf showed up. Wow, glad we got Pax Pamir first. The graphical layout is nicer and the rulebook looks friendlier. Pax Porf looks "busy" all around.

16 12/1/2020 8:10:00 PM Turn 1 Dave-red Message 1. Buy B3 (Fath-Ali Shah)

2. Play Fath-Ali Shah (#1 slot on L)
- place 2xRed in Persia
- I now control Persia
- Change favored suit to Blue

3. Bonus Action (Blue)
- Lal: 3xMove
- Move from Mohan Lal
1. RED Mohan Lal> Herati Bandits

gain +2 rupees for leveraged card

2. buy T2 (Exiled Durrani nobility)
spend 2 rupees, T0(1) and T1(1)

new T5 card = Eldred Pottinger-19

Total discs deployed (it's a drag we don't have a slot to keep track of this on ACTS)
Simon-blue = 1
Dave-red = 0

9 12/1/2020 3:49:00 PM Turn 1 Dave-red Message Well I think it would have been unfair to have both Cossacks and Mohan Lal, so you were just trying to keep it competitive, right?
8 12/1/2020 3:41:00 PM Turn 1 Simon-blue Message >>> How about we use this formalism:
T0 for top 0 and B4 for bottom 4, etc.
For money, let's put that in parenthesis. Right now the market is:
B0(2)

* sounds good

I think I made a big mistake letting you get that Mohan Lal card - it's a triffic card, and I should've nabbed it
