Regarding the combats and naval, arty, air, I will place the marker in the logs from now on to make it more clear, sorry about that. In A and B, I only used Naval in A. B was as is. Is there any issue remaining with the Combat A at 2:1 with a 4 roll = DR? Combat B at 2:1 with a 6, is A1/D1 (I marked it that way in the log, but you stated "Combat B looks like an A1/D1 to me 2:1 DR6 = A1/D1" which is confusing as that matches exactly what I declared and resolved so I am unclear what is at odds at this point? |

For C, I was in error, or not optimizing by decalring the 29th as MAF as I need the Rangers in the MAF to use the quality shift. I was also under the impression from rule 11.3 that for the 1 L shift to apply ALL units in the MAF must be attacking across or out of a major river, flooded hex, or flooded hexside. My Rangers and other units in 2616 are attacking across a minor river, thus not all are attacking across or out of terrain defined in 11.3? |

I assume I am OK with making the initial invasion rolls? After that, not certain how you prefer to handle things? - Active player moves, and declares combats with the combat markers (letter, arrows, odds, etc) - Defender reviews/confirms move before resolving. - Defender rolls dice or just confirm agreement with the odds and the attacker rolls on ACTS? Only thing I see as an issue with defender resolving all the battles, is the attacker can change the battles, or cancel some depending on how the initial results go? |
