you are correct, another example of my rust. The commanding general is the intercepting roll, modified by the cav general. Forrest has stopped in Pittsburgh but absorbed the SP there to become a 2-SP cav brigade. |

A questions that matters and one that doesn't for now. 1) Is Forrest Attacking or just staying in Pittsburgh? 2) Could Forrest have left Van Dorn and an SP in Johnstown to intercept in Pittsburgh. This is the paragraph that convinced me that Scaefer was correct: The interception attempt is successful if the interception die roll is equal to or less than the commanding general’s defensive battle rating. Modify the die roll by –2 if a Cavalry Brigade is making the interception or if a Cavalry Brigade is present in the Army or Corps. and If a Cavalry Brigade is stacked exclusively with infantry SPs, the Cavalry Brigade can attempt to intercept alone |

We should get this resolved before I draw cards. Seems like I had two problems for me. 1) I never added the eight to AoP in the first place. 2) So that gives my 9 SPs there....and I added 5 from various places, so that makes my total 14 not 12. So if you agree that AoP has 14, I can draw cards. I base this on Log 265 (Base 9) and then log 269 SR moves 4-8 adding 5. Cool? |
