72 | 1/19/2021 2:10:00 PM | Fall 1861 | Confederate | Message |
Couple things: 1) You can't move generals during SR. So Burnside has to stay in Evansville, and you can't take all of a general's sp away (he has to have someone to boss around!). 2) You do get one general from the turn track after SR is done this turn, so you could put Halleck into Lewistown to command the stack you're building if you like. 3) You aren't allowed to draw cards until after SR and general placement. I know you're just learning so whatever, we'll just play on like this, but you aren't supposed to know what your hand is going to be when you decide on your SR. TL/DR: Are you ok with Halleck in Lewistown (instead of Burnside)? You can still get to the same 6sp by moving the sp you left behind in Cincinnati. I will assume that and do my own SR, but feel free to change something. |

Fall 1861 has no reinforcements so we go straight to SR. You are first and can move up to 15sp around via friendly railroads or port to port (or if you're moving into an army you can use roads and you can mix all 3, as long as you have line-of-supply the whole way). |

Result is 1/1, which would eliminate both sides. However, rule 7.34 says you can't have both sides eliminated so whoever inflicted more casualties gets to keep 1sp. Since it's a tie, that rule says we both keep our sp. (Mine stays in Harrisburg, yours is pushed back to Lewistown where it attacked from.) |

You skipped the strategic reinforcement step. You can move up to 15 sp around via rail connections (or into an army). Then I can move 7. THEN we draw cards. (Also I do have an sp in Fort PJ so that card doesn't work as an event when we do get there.) |
