Okay. Prepping for more interviews with a bigger workload this week so delayed replies. Also planning a trip to Italy so I had to lock into a flight recently before prices went up. I expect to move during the weekend. Sorry for the delay. |

I have added the initial CPs for both games (the 002 files) and added the dice difference (the 003a files). The Dave_as_USA_003a file also includes the CSA moves, so it only requires the Union log to complete the impulse. For Dave_as_CSA_003a, you need to create the CSA log, and return it to me so I can complete the impulse with the USA log. I recommend using the letters and numbers approach for file naming as it's easier to keep thing in step, but if you have a preferred alternative, let me know. |

And those double cannons were more likely to overload and explode. I suppose it comes down to time and money. For myself it's more about time than paying a bit more to do things. That attitude could change if we go into a recession next year. |

Pausing AoP move for Wheeler's reaction. I guess the cannon was an attempt to emulate the chain shot used in the navy. However, as soon as I saw the picture of the cannon, I wondered how they were going to synchronize shots. Turns out, the dentist didn't. :) That tour does look tempting - perhaps when the exchange rate is better. (Yes, we've got yet another idiot Prime Minister (facepalm).) All yours. |

Pretty good overview. You're looking at over a week of touring. More like 10 days if you include Gettysburg which is hours away from Virginia. - https://www.battlefields.org/visit/itineraries/tour-american-battlefield-trust-preserved-battlefields-three-days The fortifications along the Virginia Peninsula are worth a look, too. Around Lynchburg is where Lee surrendered and a place I want to visit when I go out next time. Monticello is worth a visit. Same goes for Jamestown and Yorktown and Mount Vernon. |

Oh yes, if I were to do a battlefield tour, would be aiming for Antietam and Manassas, too. Possibly some of the Valley sites, too. Do people organize battlefield tours in the States? In the UK, we have people who run tours for WWI and WWII, and I think Kevin Zucker used to run Napoleonic tours, but never seen anything else. |
