Re the retreat from Grafton. Think the last sentence of 6.5.1 covers it: A leaderless force in enemy territory may retreat as a result of combat; retreat is not movement. The SP can retreat to 4404, 4504, or 4604 (see 7.7.13). |

Thanks, Clint. lol Oh, yeah, you are very far up north. We got as far up north as Perth as I recall. My partner was not liking the cold so the discussion about going further up north was not a popular one. I remember purchasing gloves as it was so cold and I am more tolerant to the cold than most. Anyway, the extra two days for the Highlands were allotted to seeing more of the London area. Overall, a great trip. I think with the flying it was about 25 days and we saw most of the UK and clocked a bit under 2K miles in driving. |

I stayed in a hotel in Redwood City, though I can't remember much about it. I stayed in Monterey the week of the LA riots of 92. My mother called to check I was OK. I said Clint Eastwood is the mayor of the neighbouring county, so we're probably safe enough. That seemed to satisfy her. We live right up in the north of Scotland - about 70 miles from John O'Groats, which is what most people think of as the northernmost tip of mainland Britain (it's actually Dunnet Head, but the only thing there is a lighthouse). |

Monterey is its own area but you can drive there from the Bay certainly. I'm in Redwood City which is between San Francisco and San Jose. I was in the UK back in the early 2000s. A 25 day trip. We only did not make it to the Highlands because time ran out. |

I believe you need to save the file as a .vlog and not .vsav When you save it as the latter it's a snapshot where you left off but we want to have the log tracking everything in case we need to ever refer back to the file. Agreed, the pdf takes precedence over the module in case of any differences. The 4/2 -1 0 version of Little Mac is an alternative in the Variant leaders list. I think it recreates his sluggishness nicely, but I am happy to go with the 3*-1 0 version if that's what you prefer. I'm fine with your alternative vlog file. I have added my turn 1 priorities and uploaded. There are a couple of messages by Andy in the Delayed Messages tab, but I assume they can be ignored. If you want to stick to the restrictions on Jackson's and Lyon's promotion, that is OK with me. However, I am happy to play without the Jackson restriction if you want. Lyon remains restricted no matter what you decide. |

We're using the rules in the PDF, not on the vassal module if they contradict. I don't know where you are seeing Little Mac moving for 4. We can use a home brewed starting vlog that handles a lot of our work. Alternatively, if it bothers you we can use a default starting vlog but it will be more administrative work for us. I put it in the Dropbox so you can check it out. Note that Jackson and Lyon both stay two star unless certain conditions come about. |
