55 2/25/2021 10:55:00 AM Summer 1861 Union Message Sorry, I mean Manassas with 4sp. (He started with 5 and left one in Fredericksburg with that first move.)

To you ...
54 2/25/2021 10:53:00 AM Summer 1861 Union Message Yep, Mud March results in Burnside being in Manassas with 3sp, and now its your turn.
53 2/25/2021 4:18:00 AM Summer 1861 Confederate Play Strategy card as Event #7: 1 / Mud March
Interrupt enemy force currently moving to no more than one space of movement. (Converting a space counts as movement.) Applies to only one move during a Major or Minor campaign card, but not a special army-naval move.

Message from Confederate:
can this be played to block that last wet of moves?
52 2/22/2021 6:35:00 AM Summer 1861 Union Play Strategy card as Operations #39: 2 / Draft Riots in New York
The Union must remove three SPs (Union chooses). If possible the SPs must come from Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, or Washington DC.

Message from Union:
Activate Burnside in Frederick
Leave 1sp there, march out with 4
M1: Manassas, drop 1sp n3
M2-3: Staunton, drop 1sp n2
M4: Charlottesville, drop 1sp n1
M5-7: Williamsburg, pick up 5sp from AoP n6
M8: End in Richmond, with 6
51 2/22/2021 5:13:00 AM Summer 1861 Confederate Message i will go with your suggestion thanks!
50 2/22/2021 5:09:00 AM Summer 1861 Union Message A corps move (aka, you activated a general not an army) can only move with 2 total generals at a time. So you can't pick up Price in Fayetteville. (And you can't leave him without any troops to boss around so you can't pick up his sp either.)

Do you just want to do the same move but wind up with 3sp and 2 generals in Rolla? Or do something else?
49 2/22/2021 4:25:00 AM Summer 1861 Confederate Play Strategy card as Operations #49: 3 / CSS Alabama, Commerce Raider

Confederate immediately receives three SPs in any friendly controlled space with a LOC, free of Union SPs or forts. No more than one SP per confederate controlled state. No SPs may be placed in Pro-Union spaces.

38 2/15/2021 1:38:00 PM Summer 1861 Union Message So that's McClellan, Rosey, and Halleck to AoP
Pope to Salem
Buell to Bloomington
and Burnside + Banks to DC

Now it's on you to place JJ, Bragg, Smith, and Stuart. (You deal with the first 3 together, rolling like I did if they're heading to multiple spots. Meanwhile the cav is rolled separately and since there's only 1 that means just put it where you like.)

After rolling generals, draw your cards and decide if you want to open with a campaign or whether I should go first.

36 2/15/2021 1:14:00 PM Summer 1861 Union Message Just for future reference: the port-runner port of Norfolk is currently closed because I control the coastal fort that guards it (Fort Monroe). So your choices for your North Atlantic port-runner were just Morehead City and Wilmington. You used strategic movement to move it to Raleigh anyway so whatever, your move winds up identical with that sp starting in one of those cities.
35 2/15/2021 6:07:00 AM Summer 1861 Confederate Message sorry last one was Live Oak to Nashville

33 2/14/2021 2:55:00 AM Summer 1861 Union Message Oh, and because you took Kentucky you get 1sp somewhere in KY as a bonus 10th state-based reinforcement.
32 2/14/2021 2:54:00 AM Summer 1861 Union Message You also get 4 port-runners. Since the blockade level is still zero you can just place them in any of the ports with red arrows (one per zone).

In addition, after you place those you can move up to 7 troops around via railroads. Let me know what you want to do ...
31 2/14/2021 2:16:00 AM Summer 1861 Confederate Message i think 9 reinforcements

Petersburg
Capital to Fayetteville
Thats it
30 2/13/2021 3:16:00 AM Summer 1861 Union Message Oh, and you also need to chose a new square for your capital. You should choose a resource center or a blockade runner port or else you lose 10 more strategic will.
29 2/12/2021 1:28:00 PM Summer 1861 Union Message Revision: I'm going to place 2sp into Vincennes IN instead of Vernon.

The turn sequence from here goes:
1) CSA reinforcements
2) USA strategic movement
3) CSA strategic movement
4) USA generals
5) CSA generals
6) Draw cards

However, your initial reinforcement placements aren't going to affect my Strategic Movement much, so I'm gonna go ahead and do it now. Then it'll be on you for both placement and movement.

23 2/11/2021 5:46:00 AM Spring 1861 Confederate Play Strategy card as Operations #81: 3 / Emancipation Proclamation - Reshuffle/Remove
Either player must play this card as an EC on the Strategy Round immediately following a Union large or medium battle victory. Confederate loses 10 SW and 3 SPs (his choice). Union loses 5 SW. Flip GT marker to its Emancipation Proclamation side. Card must be the last one played by a player at which time it can be played as an OC card. If the play of this card as an OC results in a battle victory, there is no Emancipation Proclamation Remove from deck if event is played. If this card is played as an OC or discarded re-shuffle deck at the end of the Strategy Phase.

22 2/10/2021 4:48:00 AM Spring 1861 Union Message It's a small battle so the result is 1*/1. However, since Richmond is a resource center the * doesn't count and you win the battle instead of me.

JJ goes to the turn track
You managed to find one of the 4 resaults out of the 26 possible where I don't actually win the fight, so AoP does not get to keep moving. Since the winner was eliminated, AoP does get to occupy Winchester. So it ends there at 5sp.

13 2/6/2021 9:20:00 PM Spring 1861 Union Play Strategy card as Operations #115: 2 / Galveston
The Confederate player may move 1 SP from a blockade runner port (open or closed) to its associated ungarrisoned Union controlled coastal fort (no Union SP present) and immediately place a Confederate PC marker (does not require a LOC) in the Coastal fort space. Remove from deck if event is played.

12 2/6/2021 8:38:00 PM Spring 1861 Confederate Play Strategy card as Operations #61: 3 / Ship Island/Key West

11 2/4/2021 1:55:00 PM Spring 1861 Union Message Meanwhile playing the card into the Ops queue is my entire turn ... I don't get to do anything that affects the board.
10 2/4/2021 1:51:00 PM Spring 1861 Union Message Rule 20.0 says players can use multiple cards to build up to enough ops to activate a general ("to simulate a logistics buildup"). I need a 3 to activate McDowell / AoP so I am spending this turn playing a 2 for partial credit. Next turn if I play another card into the Ops queue I will be able to move AoP. If I do anything else (or if AoP is involved in a combat) then the Ops queue vanishes.
9 2/4/2021 7:03:00 AM Spring 1861 Confederate Message Not sure what that means -> Ops queue

5 2/2/2021 1:58:00 AM Spring 1861 Union Message Should I go first? (That's 99.9% of all turns in my experience, even when the south draws a Campaign it usually prefers to go last anyway, but I don't want to presume or skip ahead.)

3 2/1/2021 4:05:00 PM Spring 1861 Union Draw Strategy cards 4 cards drawn.

2 2/1/2021 4:04:00 PM Spring 1861 Union Message I will renew my offer of a live session if it's either convenient or useful to you. (I spend ~16 hours a day playing games on my computer so time zones are unlikely to be a major issue. :-) )

Meanwhile as the south it's on you to either tell me to go first or open with a Campaign.

Good luck and have fun!
