Yeah, that's fair. Nicely done. Amphibs never really work for me- too many siege rolls missed, then you take attrition, and so on. I guess I should take more chances with it. But you certainly outplayed me- congrats! |

Obviously no path to Brit victory now. As it's a friendly obviously just thought Id go ahead as if Wolfe was [9] still didnt work out! I can see you had just the one 3 ops this season if you wanted to bring up Monckton. I think the Brits should be able to take a campaign out of the discard too. Im wondering why you didnt try an Amphib early 57... Maybe because my reins were building up i suppose, although Amherst is a pretty good leader for that. Always tough when French max out Northern indians, let alone both Reins as well, the severe 57/58 attrition ended up having no effect whatsoever.. Might take a break but another in a month or two should be fine. There was a reason I named the game as I did ;) |

Well that's that.... I was planning to send Mont west if Wolfe broke through, although LRS stockade was ripe for 4 attempted raids by Indians with last card too. Recapturing Ticon 2X was great fun.. |

CdB defends at HCN with no cards - over to you to resolve. I suppose you could have tried to avoid with one of the provs but still too weak, amazing how useful a leader such as Webb or Dunbar is in these situations. Some seasoned British players avoid stockades completely but that can soak up too many activations. |
