I agree it is best for the defensive player to react then roll the battles then do his post-btl moves all in one log. Then the offensive player does post-btl moves, probably as another log. I don't know if you play PoG or BtB, but that is pretty much how combat is handled in ACTS in those games. |

It seemed like less back and forth if I rolled the result and applied my hits; then over to you apply your hits and do your post battle movement; then back to me to do my post battle movement and next offensive. And we can do all this in one log file. |

You have responded to my annoying card with a very annoying card of your own! You can roll the combats or I can -- this is ;ooking like Midway for the Japanese... In most cases, the defending player can just go ahead and roll and apply the results, then it goes back to the offensive player to do post-btl moves. Why don't we stick with that? Also, note tha on the air-sea vs. grnd units, this only happens if there are no opposing air-sea units and can only reduce, not elim the grnd units. For instance is our current battle, if you had not reacted and I had rolled a x1 multiplier, I could have flipped 3AUS and 3NZ, but nothing more... |

I figured out how the infrastructure markers work. You click on "Transportation Route Display Options" in the Toolbar (it's the brown hexagon with the transportation routes), and toggle the display option for a route. It's nifty. I turned on the Jarhat route. |

I will still abandon Alaska -- you can easily take it back with a 1 or 2 ops card that will leave me no reaction... On the air units, they are using strat.air movement which doubles their hops to six. I guess I miscounted on a couple of them but they should still should be able to get where they want to go. |

If you abandon Amchitka within 3 turns, you can't claim Alaska Occupation. Since you took it on Turn 2, you'd have to have a unit there through the end of Turn 5.
