I actually got Round-Up last turn but couldn't play it as it was a Winter turn. But it is a powerful card to play. I think the only way you could have prevented me from playing it on Calais was to play Atlantic Wall as an Event. If you destroyed both LCUs, it would have been difficult to make a landing in Calais.

It is far more important than Moscow in some ways as it doesn't have forest and those Soviets tanks can just roll through. It is hard to tell what the best tactic is. You got Moscow but couldn't capitalise on that other than taking Stalin out. Although it is painfull getting 1 less RP per card due to his death.

Problem was negleting the Ukraine at the beginning. Too much focus on Moscow maybe. Being able to save the Kishinev front at the beginning is important too. The MOs order of the second turn is one of the most important of the entire game in my opinion, beacuase Soviet at the beginning are very weak and can not afford losing front due to OOS at the end of the turn.

I think the only way you could have prevented me from playing it on Calais was to play Atlantic Wall as an Event. If you destroyed both LCUs, it would have been difficult to make a landing in Calais.
